The Leaf could’ve easily had the last one, it appeared he just let it go past
- Ratsreign

I'm not sure how tall everyone thinks he is, but that angle and the amount of space it had, no one could get it.

There was a similar icing or two earlier that weren't called in Florida's favour and I didn't know why. It didn't touch anyone and it wasn't near enough to be waived.

Clock issue?

Naw, I'm gonna go with it was time for a makeup call.

The problem with the way the game is called is that you can go out and do whatever the F you want (like Bennett) and know that ultimately you'll be given a PP in return, just because.

I didn't think so at all, and I still don't know why the two icings against the Leafs were waived off either.
- Aetherial

Maybe it wasn’t as close to him as it appeared.

Has a linesman (or was it the ref in a terrible position?) ever been awarded the “check of the game” award before? That was a beauty, separating the man from the puck

Hold them off

Leafs looked good in the O-Zone and like dog poop in the d-zone. That's probably going to be a theme for this series. Just have to hope the forwards get some goals.
Looked like the Leafs used up all their luck against Tampa. The score should be 3-3 right now

Leafs back to being nervous. Too many passes off of sticks leading to turnovers.

They were always fast. That was Brunette's (coach Q's) model with them last year. Use their speed, use their size and they were excellent. The weakness of that team was largely their defense wasn't as good as the top forward lines. They're a bit tougher up front with Tkachuk and I think a bit weaker on the back end without Weegar.

It'll be a pressure game - our forwards and their forwards are going to want to pressure each other's D and see who breaks.

So Lalonde and then Eakins as their "sexperts?" This is just bait.

I’d be nice of Leaf’s could spend some 5 x 5 time in the O zone… because that’s been non existent so far…

Big 2nd … start with the kill build off that.

I noticed that against Boston. They're not only fast but they make every pass count, every pass seems to be on a stick without anyone having to break a stride.

They definitely earned their place here.

Judging by the 4-0 in the dots, ROR is likely healthy again

Was pretty comical. Annoying but tough to really complain. It is surprising stuff like that doesn't happen more often.

Well if they can't find a way to contain the Cats speed then what are they going to do if they ever meet the Devils.

The Leafs have had more chances, they can't hit the net and cant get a bounce on a rebound.

It was the Bennett/Tkachuk line that did almost all of the dominating. Leafs need to find the right match up. Keefe has been trying JT/Marner against them ..not good so far.

Bennett no good in his own end so need to find a way to turn them around.
