No coots has no shot to compare to that you know why?
BECAUSE BERGY IS A HALL OF FAME PLAYER. One of the best EVER at what he does. I’m so sick and tired of hearing and reading coots slightly above average ass even in same sentence as Bergy.
Please stop looking at the outlier and look at all the others. That’s where coots (in this case) will land.
How many times do we need to see this movie - SMS4016
Again in haste, you've completely missed the point of the post. The post was not to compare Couturier and Bergeron directly as players but it was an attempt to show that Couturier could remain a high level player well into his 30's. Just as Bergeron has.
The last sentence below in the post, should've clued you in
And remember Bergeron came back from a multiple serious consussions. But to some Couts has no shot??" |

See you look at stats and stats alone. Wonderful he had 42 goals. Big (frank)ing deal. Thompson had 47!!!
What did others have? What did pasta have? 60(frank)inghowmany?
Who do you want taking shot to win game in playoffs? Or results season?
Mcdavid
Leo
The next list starts with people like pasta Kaprizov Matthews mackinnon etc
Not Tkachuk. Not even in that class.
And that’s just to name a few.
Again I’m a huge Tkachuk fan. But like I said when you’re wrong you’re horribly wrong - SMS4016
You keep telling others they wrong and then don't come close to backing it up. To say that Tkachuk is not in the class of players like Kaprizov, Matthews, and McKinnon is just ignorant. You dismiss the information of stats that show that he is in that class and then bring nothing but rhetoric to the table. You didn't offer a single fact or reference anything that supports your opinion that Tkachuk is not in that class. |

Yep trolling fraud. Surely you’re right - SMS4016
Please tell me you've got more than your last two posts in your effort to ride me and expose me as a fraud. Seriously, at least make some kind of effort. You've already proved my prediction that you will only expose yourself. |

some do claim to be. it is related to hockey. not a personal attack you claim or unwarranted as it was part of a discussion and in reference to the hockey conversation. the bolded is actually an example of trying to make it personal. not sure what you are referring too, you are the one making accusations, again. no actual evidence provided. - Peter Richards
As expected, you didn't take responsibility for your actions. There is only one person who posts on this thread who claims to have inside info on the Flyers and nobody believes him. You also know that both that comment and the later Myers comment was not directed at others but at one person. There are no accusations made, only facts given. The comment was personal in nature and you know that. |

Any indication or reports that Tkachuk is unhappy and doesn't want to play in Florida? Must be awful to be able to enjoy the warm weather and the beaches. The night life and restaurants. Maybe Tkachuk is not worth his salts. - MJL

incorrect again. never denied making the comment, and now you are shifting to another post in a feeble attempt at what. was not a personal attack in any way, thinking so is just laughable.
No it was not directed at one person as many on here claimed he had a good hockey iq. you have no evidence yet again with more accusations using your opinion as "facts". do you think the world revolves around you? it doesn't, but find it highly comical you feel my posts are only for you. this is what you are resorting too? seriously?
yes i do agree, your comment of man up was in the personal nature. as i pointed out weeks ago. as this has been your style for years. you don't actually want to discuss hockey as you stated. the mission accomplish comment the other day proved the point, yet again.
look at the post i replied to in my i think it's funny comment. the person was referring to the same thing. but yet here you are just trying to argue again, making more false accusations. your true intentions were already exposed. this is just more evidence. the end
edit- the orginal myers iq conversation i had was with tomahawk, mbflyers fan and someone else. many others said he didn't have an issue as well. wasn't with you at all. there was a group of us who disagreed. get over it...man up |

I didn't state that you denied making the comment. Of course it was personal. It certainly wasn't about hockey.

To anyone with any common sense, the evidence I supplied was clear. You had all kinds of bravado when you knew I wouldn't respond to you. Now that has changed, you've resorted to taking cowardly indirect shots and trolling.

You don't seem to understand the simple concept that I keep it to hockey and only respond in such manner in response to others. The mission accomplished post absolutely proved the point. That was the intent of it. The threads are clear and the record is clear. My posts are strictly hockey related unless provoked. You can't change that simple fact.

I was involved in the original conversation and it was my position that Myers issues were not due to a lack of hockey IQ. You made that comment in an attempt to take a cowardly shot. As you are incapable and uninformed in order to do anything else.
The record is clear. All you can do is troll when it comes to interaction with me. Your free ride is over. Again, my intentions were not hidden, so there is no need to expose them. I told it directly to you. Man to man. Not cowardly taking a shot . |

all just your opinion. nothing of merit here at all. keep playing the victim. no one is buying any of this nonsense
cowardly is waiting for a new message board to pop up to start to reply...imo
keep just making stuff all about you. it's utterly hilarious.
and let me ask you. why has myers not been able to hold down an nhl job when he has all the physical tools? wait wait....don't care what your opinion is. |

lmao, sure thing if that makes you feel better man. it was explained to you. but you can have your perception. i'll stay in reality. enjoy candyland. you are the one who continually makes insults and tries to make it personal. told you before you mean nothing, stop acting like a school girl, and stop crying over everything i post.
lol your arrogance is amazing...you didn't finish anything, you proved nothing. |

It's not a petty insult. It's just simply a fact. If you understood that a player can't catch a poor hockey IQ like a virus. You wouldn't keep making the reference. A player having a low hockey IQ shows up very early in a player development. Myers fast tracked his way through the AHL into the NHL and played very well before he had his issues. There was zero sign of a hockey IQ issue before that. Myers did not regress as a player due to a hockey IQ issue.
You know though that you made the comment for a reason. - MJL
myers wasn't drafted, was picked up due to his physical abilities. once in the nhl he obviously couldn't keep up with the play (menatlly). why he has now been waived by the next two teams he was on. but you stick to your narrative |

That is not correct. Myers played 251 professional hockey games before the 20/21 season when he had his issues. Including 71 games with the Flyers before the 20/21 season. He had a very strong season in 19/20 playing for the Flyers in 50 games. Registering 16 points and was a +17. He looked very promising and had a strong season which led the Flyers to thinking they could elevate him to a higher role and more minutes in a top 4 spot. There was zero evidence that he had an issue keeping up with the play. Mentally or physically.
The situation the Flyers put him, and part of their awful player development, along with the Flyers being a completely dysfunctional team in terms of team defensive play, is what crashed Myers as a player. He lost his confidence and hasn't recovered. Had zero to do with hockey IQ or not being able to keep up with the play mentally. The Flyers ruined him. Plain and simple. That's not a narrative. Just the facts.
You can't post with that much detail due to the fact that you are uninformed and unknowledgeable on the sport of hockey. Also, not a narrative but just the obvious fact.
TB would not have acquired him and immediately extended him to a new contract if he had the obvious hockey IQ issue that some uninformed fans think he has. A hockey IQ issue is easily recognizable to a team with the pedigree and scouts that TB has. The knew it was a confidence issue that he might be able to overcome. Which is why they took a chance. |

It is disqualifying to say that games played at the NHL level and how the player played in those games means nothing when assessing a player. That the 250+ games at the professional level that Myers played before having his issues have no bearing or impact on determing what his issues were. He was waived because his play declined.
Your response above is not intelligent. |

not a reading comprehension issue, not willing to read your responses anymore is a different subject. read the first line and stopped.
you even admitted fully (which also contradicts your statements a few weeks ago) what your agenda is. it's not to discuss hockey. obviously you have a personal thing with me. living in your head rent free as they say.
claiming you know so much more...lol. that's right thomspson is better than brassard. brassard won't get signed is washed in the nhl (3 years later...) ghost is trending...3 years later yes he's still playing but that convo happened years ago. myers is going to be an elite shutdown d man....3 years later.
basically our disagreements over the years.
but sure...i'll take your word for it. Mr. i know everything... |
