Due for a break? We don't deserve one. In 2017 we were given a break and totally shat the bed. - mr4tno
We picked the player everyone would have picked. Stop it with the revisionist history. And don't say we would have picked Makar, because the history applies to everyone. New Jersey would have picked Makar. Maybe we get Heiskanan. Who by the way, was the player that was said SOME of the scouts wanted.
Next you will tell me I should have bet on Vegas to make the Cup in their first year because you knew it the whole time. |

The Flyers would have to do a whole lot more than just add Bedard to get to legit contention in that time frame. - MJL

Thanks Bill! It's always great to read about the good old days when we were in the playoffs. Gotta love Andy Delmore with the hat trick. What a great series. Man, do I miss Flyers in the playoffs. |

It feels like it's been a long time since we have had a team to be excited about. I miss those days. We got blue balled a few years ago but it's been poop every year since Leighton and his save of the year |

Yeah. We’ll drop to 9 as Washington gets #1 and Detroit gets #2. |

I just want the draft lottery to be over with. It’s sick of web sites and this board trying to convince me we’re moving up to a top two draft pick. Seriously, it’s physically killing me. - SuperSchennBros

Last time they won the Cup they had a player named Mike “Shakey” Walton.

There are ao many things that I did not mention, and I apologize. We could even argue over the best cheese steaks in Philly. Lets just uat argue because we are Flyers fans and feltcher made us all unhappy - Bob Habib
Well for starters, DiNik’s pork has to be mentioned!

Wonder how CC feels on the golf course watching the panthers right now.
If tornonto loses do they somewhat make some massive changes? |

It takes time to build team chemistry. All that tinkering at the deadline can upset that chemistry. Look at the Kraken. They did nothing. Lost two of their best offensive players in McCann and Burakovsky. That team is united and playing for each other. - Minnyhock
dont think chemistry is the issue why the leafs are down 3-0. their top players have gone MIA.

The “Big 4” have been MIA. In the regular season they have room to operate and aren’t doing very well in the playoffs of finding that space. I will also add there d is putrid. Luke Schenn is serviceable but can’t be your most dependable guy. Hell they have even turned to Gus on the backend. As well, the goaltending has just been OK. They just don’t seem to have those type of players that are playoff hard….or at least enough of them to make a deep run. They fully deserve to be down 3-0…it ain’t no mystery. |

They are more worried about their bling and how they dress than winning a Cup. Torts would send those guys to the Sahara desert. They are soft soft players. I mean, look at the Devils yesterday. They came out and played a physical game. It still comes down to physicality and who wants it more this time of year. You obviously have to have talent, but talent without work ethic ain't gonna get you very far this time of year. Hey, perhaps Torts is onto something.
