I wish they would bring back Markov in some capacity, to coach the pp or the defensemen or whatever.
That guy made Komisarek, souray and streit looked like they were superstars.

I agree on Komisarek, Streit was very good with the Islanders ans Philly after, Souray had a 53 points season with the Oilers. You forgot MAB. But yeah Markov with a shooter next to him was lethal on a PP. |

You wouldn't trade the 30th overall pick for a former first overall, local kid who scored 40 points and 16 goals as a 21 year old with absolutely no powerplay or top 6 time?

gain, it comes down to perceived value and need.
If they are going to use it in a trade, then trade for something they need more than a maybe better than 3rd line winger.
Go get something like PLD instead or a right shot defencemen or a decent goalie.

Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog will undergo a cartilage transplant in his right knee on May 10. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Brian Cole at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Dr. Cole will be wearing a Bedard jersey. The 30-year-old forward is expected to miss the entire 2023-24 season.
