One more domino to fall. That loss was expected by the Oil, right?
If only the goaltending was better as the Leafs are saying right now lol.
Goes to show how important tending can be in the playoffs and sure buried Canucks season too. - Quinn's Quest

Canuck fans can embrace futility and a scorched earth rebuild but haven’t found a way to get that through to ownership. They just need to boycott the team for a while. |

Such a great night!!
The Leafs done!
The Oilers barely hanging on.
Glorious! - Marwood
It’s awesome that all 4 teams of the next round are less than 25 years old. Makes me wonder if I’ve wasted the last 30 years cheering on a team that’s still 10 years out. |

Yes this futility is never ending isn’t it. Only what, fans for the Sabers and Leaf’s, can say they have it worse?

That was beautiful, I saw the replay as I was watching the Oiler vs Vegas game. - LeftCoaster
That Leaf thread is ready to blow it all up or major retool. Maybe even hire Sutter, okay consider it lol. They are lost puppies. Not sure if Canuck fandom is more lost lol. |

The meltdown is just so satisfying. I hope Matthews leaves via free agency and they get nothing for him. |

If he doesn’t extend they are sending him packing but the ask will far outweigh the return of course. His playoff record is horrible. |

Trade him this offseason to Arizona for their 1st plus, Toronto use that 1st to trade to Van for JTM, Canucks trade their native 1st for younger C |

That’s the most inventive JTM trade seen so ‘23 6OA via TO. Not sure Leaf’s want JTM but he plays hard.
But then who do the Canucks trade their pick for a center? In that theory they get a great one at 6OA then add a D at 11OA. |

No they trade their 11OA for a C that can plug and play now. Draft a C at 6, trade for a C at 11
Leafs see they need to get bit ch ass Matthews off the team and bring in someone with grit: JTM gives them that and keeps their window open |

Okay so shore up C now and future then work on D in lower rounds I guess. They don’t have any more assets left to trade for a top 4 so clear cap in ‘24 for UFA? |

Woke up to see this marks it for sure.
Now Canada’s last team left will be next to oil slick the bed I guess.
Who’s the fave left …? Krak? Canes? - Quinn's Quest
Have a Canes/Dallas final in my main pool doesn't pay much but man my long shot picks are fading lol |

Yup but it’s Nylander because his contract is easier to move who they probably trade to upgrade D.
Now I wonder do Hawks blow in with Seth Jones and some of their many picks for Mathews? Extend him to center Bedard to break into league.
Leafs flip those picks for defensive for defensive RFA players?
It just sucks other teams have more options than the Canucks. |

Ha!! Yeah we just needed a clown (KY) and extra windmills we would have had ourselves a golf course.
Seriously try those Titleist 'left dash' ProV1X balls they are out standing. Super low spin off the tees and workability with the irons. Probably gonna switch full time to it from the Callaway LS Chrome Soft X's. Long. |

What’s the word on Simashev worth taking at 11?
I think he might be the best upside all around D in the draft. ASP and Gulyayev best offensive but not Canucks greatest need.
We know Reinbacher will be gone before 11 and maybe ASP. So go for Simashev? Or trade down for RSD Willander to add a 2nd? |
