I know this will not happen, but I would like to see Bedard say no thanks to Chicago for their dark past. - VANTEL
That would be fitting no matter where else he would go. |

Yes, I'd love for Chicago to announce him as their pic, they hand him the jersey and instead of putting it on he hands it back and takes the microphone to say, "I'm sorry, while I have no ill will towards the current management of the Chicago Blackhawks organization, I refuse to play for them as I feel the draft is a way to limit players who are getting into the league's ability to choose the place they play. As such, I will be sitting out until my rights expire and am able to sign with the organization I choose or am traded. Thank you." |

I don’t think it works like that for CHL players, unlike NCAA players. He’d simply re-enter the draft in two years, not become a UFA. |

I know, besides even in the SUPER UNLIKELY event he pulls a Lindros, Chicago ain't gonna let him sit for 2 years when they could just trade him to whoever and probably get more than the Nordiques did for Lindros. No to mention how great that trade set Colorado up for their mini-dynasty with Forsberg |

Can you imagine the haul they’d get for him…wow!!! I think he’ll play there though. If they hit on their picks they’re gonna be good in five years time. |

Agree but it comes down to RT & his staff for the roster to play their way. I see it continuing to be about accountability & not free wheeling blowing the zone hockey. Defensive zone has to be the focus & the forecheck to improve. Pretty much all 3 zones being harder to play against. - Nighthawk
Sure. Laf is really not strong in 2/3 zones because of his speed. He’s basically Boeser. |

Haven't had a chance too watch since early in the 1st round, but have watched a couple Seattle games. They are enjoyable watching, hardworking, and physical when need be. |

Yeah watching the playoffs gives you an idea just how far off the Canucks are from competing. Drafting could help them but the owner is to impatient to wait for improvement so they'll just sell off the future to help make the playoffs making this team what it has been the last decade, a joke of the league. I love how Canuck fans laugh at other organizations for being poorly run, they need to open their eyes and look at the team they waste their time cheering for. |

I think there’s a lot of us in that boat. It wouldn’t be bad if after the last decade we had a direction. But we’re still in no man’s land in need of a rebuild. Oh! And we’re in cap Hell with 30 year old JT Miller and OEL leading the future for the next 6 years. |

Oilers suck lol - onesmallleap
Only a matter of time their 5/5 play sucked both series and Skinner too up/down.
Still have a CAR-DAL final in my pool very possible.

I had a rant about Nurse all typed out but didn’t post it out of fear I would jinx that game. He’s so bad at times I can’t believe he makes (or is going to make) the money he does. $9.25m for what he brings? Yikes. |

Imagine, Carolina, Florida, Las Vegas and one of Seattle or Dallas in the final four. There’s a few sh it hockey markets there.
A lot of similarities in those teams, basically one star player, a whole lot of depth and the ability to play well defensively, well, for Vegas, Carolina & Florida at least. Dallas and Seattle have a bit of a high scoring series going. |
