It wasn't ironic to me because I see similarities in some of the gay men I've known.

He's a carbon copy of a guy from Toronto I've known since the mid 80's who came out 10 years ago. The same vulgar obnoxious references to sex constantly with a lack of respect towards woman even when he is giving compliments... like he was doing to Carol when he kept calling her a sweet piece of ass. Also how fast he played the "I'm gay" card when getting called out for the things he said. First it was "I have lots of gay friends", then later it was "You know I'm gay right?". That entitlement attitude. Total carbon copy of my buddy who ironically, lives in the same gay neighborhood as Chompsey downtown T.O. Except my friend has never ever been a hockey fan.

- People don’t work too much or get paid not to work at all = Canucks

If you aren't irate after what we witnessed Saturday night you should be questioning your logic as a Hockey fan in 'today's' NHL IMO. I'm not even a Leafs fan and still the integrity of the game seems to be getting worse in passing years. There is no question that Leafs goal was over the line and should have counted. Plus Gudas holding the stick on the OT winner should have been blown dead. Question everything. It's remarkable that sh!t like that gets let go for a preferred result. Plus the NHL is a moving-board ad now with tickers on the ice, ads moving on the ice and glass, ads distracting the viewership of the game on the end boards every shift. And now on the jersey's which is quite pathetic I may add. It makes one wonder that maybe cash is really king.

I was an academic but there is much more money in the industrial trades. There is now & will be a huge hole in coming years for tradespeople.

Just one example…

The LNG in Kitimat is approximately $180k gross/year. 2 weeks on 1 week off. 2-3 week Christmas break. Approx 33 weeks work/year.
