They were an excellent WHA hockey market, it’s also the 4th largest city in America. The Rockets owner didn’t want to share an arena with them so he kicked them out. He sold the Rockets and the new owners want an NHL team for Toyota Center, which is an NHL ready arena in downtown Houston. |

Only 2000 paid attendance in Oakland for an A’s game, probably only 300 actual fans. Another pro sports franchise that needs to move ASAP. |

I know it would never happen, but Saskatoon would be way more fun |

Never happen!! Ever!! I don’t think you’ll ever see an NHL team in Quebec City either, which is a bigger city than Stoon. Despite a newer NHL ready building, QC just has too much going against it, low metro population, lack of a large corporate base, language, players not wanting to go there, taxes, low CAD dollar, too many teams in the East already…blah blah blah. I’d love to see the Nords back, but it ain’t happening…ever. |

He's probably looking for a sympathetic Mod to come in and ban everyone. |

Are you drinking or high? This is completely nonsensical. - LeftCoaster
I'm just saying we traded away a guy who only is putting up 15 goals in the W... if you sent OEL down to the W he'd easily score 25+ in the playoffs. Therefore OEL > Gunth ... so that's yet another Benning W
Clearly joking it's a horrendous trade that will probably go down as the worst in Canucks history. |

Not to mention the league sells plenty of Nordiques gear year in and year out without them having the team. No need to bring them back when the merch is selling.
I can't see Gary wanting to upset the balance of East/West, so Houston it will be. |

Yeah, I don’t think you’ll ever see another NHL team in Canada beyond the current ones. The southern states is where it’s at baby!!! #playoffs |

Whalers and Nordiques sweaters probably still outsell some American teams. |

The Athletic.
“Matvei Michkov scored the most KHL points by a draft-eligible player in history, topping the likes of Panarin, Tarasenko and Kaprizov.
Michkov's special talent is evident on tape too. Here's why he's the best Russian prospect since Alex Ovechkin:” |

Hang on to that Coyote's jersey, not that it will be ever worth SFA, more for sentimental value!

I don’t have one, but I should purchase one before they move. I’ve got lots of Flyers gear though. |

That stuff all aside I don’t see any D worth 11oa with it being too heavy on F’s & really no D that stand out. Again I repeat myself where a trade down for Simashev if D is the want. If not then pick a C. Get more 2nds & pick D where they are better projected. - Nighthawk
Pronman is an idiot. Maybe one of he most short sighted thing he has ever said probably and he’s proclaimed a lot of dumb poop over the time.
Laine over Matthews is something that should have had him cancelled. |
