Our play against eastern teams was a big problem. Idk why but it was obvious & many games we weren’t very good &/or Ops made us look bad. That has to change.

I too don’t think the Canucks are as far off as many would think. A better commitment to team D goes a long ways. A healthy Miky will help. Boeser bouncing back. Hronek an obvious upgrade on D. Move out cap & add 1 key D. 1 more year older & more experienced. Add it all up & a much better season will happen.
- Nighthawk

That is a lot of moving parts.

I am not sure Brock is going to have a bounce back year I think it will be like this but again. Expect 50-60 points.

My issue is not with the forwards it is fixing the D which makes it 4 or so moving parts and not 11.

Far off!
They would get absolutely destroyed in playoff hockey.

Slow that @ArizonaCoyotes relocation talk down for now.

NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly tells ESPN: "I don’t envision a scenario in which the Coyotes are not playing in Mullett Arena next season."

Coyotes have confirmed. Story soon.

- LeftCoaster

It would have never been this year. But next year is a very realistic outcome. It should have always been Scottsdale and they (frank)ed it up from the beginning down there. Salt Lake Quakers here we come!

No kidding. It had to go one more year minimum. He is not too bright though.

Yes a lot to ask but not unreasonable to see gains in all of those.

Brock bounce back is more about being more engaged & hungrier not a big ask. A skating coach is easily the biggest move he could make. 20+ goals is coming. A 3rd wheel sniper is ideal.

My issue isn’t forwards either just the winger logjam that can use changes.

D is the major focus no matter what.

Say Reinbacher is gone which is good possibility this makes no sense. If you want ASP then that opens up a huge debate on if another offensive D is the ‘NEED’.
- Nighthawk

They’re saying that Reinbacher may have suffered a career altering knee injury and the world championships 2 days ago.

To me he was a risky top 20 pick prior… I think he’s now a risk to anybody taking him in the first round.

One player I wonder about as a D-man is Oliver Bonk. If he’s available in the early 2nd… I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to Canucks working out a trade to acquire a 2nd… maybe Boeser?, and using that pick to select Bonk.

As pointed out yesterday you are not the sharpest stool, but Minny moved up to make sure they got a goalie seeing they targeted a goalie and there are very few available unlike the 10 forwards that are similar that I pointed out there was available at the 11 th spot. Big difference but you are too busy admiring yourself in the mirror to follow along properly.

- VANTEL

The reasons are unique to each team. It happens every few years. So I don’t know why you have a hard time believing it?

2020 the Capitals traded up two spots with the Flames, gave the Flames a 3rd for it. 2019 Coyotes traded up two spots with the Flyers (#11) they gave the Flyers a second round pick for it.

If you can convince that cheap prick Francesco to buyout OEL and move Myers and retain 2 mil that is 11 mil in cap space to get proper players. Add on move one forward would be an extra 4 plus mil.

They should just do it sooner than later. They’re an embarrassment to the league. Salt Lake does not have a good arena. It’s nice but the lighting is poor and the one end is similar to Brooklyn where the lower seats are folded in so there’s no lower level.

If true Reinbacher is a risky damaged goods it only makes taking C at 11th more obvious.

As for Bonk I don’t see him falling into the 2nd round. Guessing he goes in about the 25th or so range.

Thanks Einstein

I clearly pointed out that there were 10 other forwards that are similar so why trade up. It would be different if they are trying to secure a goalie or a Dman.

He’s a twat, never liked him. Selling the team to another owner in another city is best. When the Thrashers moved they had a BOG meeting on May 31 that year and moved them that summer. Reading this stuff on Twitter from writers. Despite what’s being said, it can happen quickly.

I’ll start with retaining on Myers.
Move out 1 winger yes indeed.
OEL at 8yrs buyout just don’t see it & why give him one more season to steady his overall game ir better yet hide him on LTIR til fully recovered & his knee is strengthened. If the 1st 2 scenarios come to pass we can add a D & buys a seasons time on OEL for future resignings. 6yrs buyout is still long but more realistic once my expected cap increases come.

So rare that a GM would trade up for a certain forward when there are 9 similar forwards right behind him.

You’re so dumb, they’re not exactly similar to each scouting staff though. Five scouts can have five different opinions. Every organization can have different needs. It’s not as black and white as you see it because you don’t know what you’re looking at. Like Reuby.

Like most lawyers he’s droll & has airs about him. Like him or not Bettman does have a sense of humour.
