I’d say try not to look at an individual stand point of Millers contract. Point would be to help out the current contracts of Laine, Werenski, Jenner before they expire in 5 years and Jonny hockey near entire contract gone to waste.

To ASL of the last few years of Millers contract. GMs have been handing these types of contracts out for forever and it’s not changing or stopping. Obviously they don’t care. They really don’t care.

I’ve a different valuation on JTM ignoring the flat cap which will change drastically in upcoming years if not immediately. Just cuz other contracts are poor to bad value I don’t go to next contract up. His personality bugs most fans but not mine. I don’t want choir boys I want old school player types who hate losing & play with an edge. The D lacks that & the F’s not enough of it. Miller will age well imo but I agree in the latter years the points will fall off but he’ll still contribute in many ways.

Wood doesn’t make me think Tage Thompson but more Oliver Wahlstrom.

Wahlstrom was actually drafted 11th in 2018. In a re-draft I’d say he would still be more a 15-20 pick.

Not big on Roslovic but it’s a start to work out a better deal.

Neither am I but he expires next season and is a center. Kind of like getting Beauvillier.
