Killer series so far and has bean there all playoffs and season.
Mistakes never grow old they get compounded. JB has made so many that haunt the Canucks to this day. |

Sure why not. Does that still create a hole to fill on Canucks? |

I was wondering with Panthers success in playoffs have Canucks thinking they could do that too.
The Athletic wrote something along those lines as well on Canuck comparisons.
Petey/JTM/Demko/Kuzmenko/QH
Is that really comparable?
It’s funny though when players play with confidence how it becomes contagious and teams gel. We haven’t seen this with Canucks when needed. So likely conclusion is we won’t. |

Odd playoff success, very LA of of 2012.
Florida had picked 4 times in the top 3 over a 5 year period. Something Vancouver hasn't been able to do since Sedin's picking top 3. So that model isn't worth following. |

Rutherford part of a dysfunctional organization? Shocker.
"A lot of the blame lies with Jim Rutherford."
Aaron Ward shredded Jim Rutherford and gives you insight to the locker room at the end of RBA's tenure
https://www.youtube.com/w...MRkryiF8&feature=youtu.be
You really get the "old boys club" feel from some past players.
Aaron Ward " I never thought I'd be put on waivers" 37 years old, 11 points in 60 games and was a minus 17.
Should they have handed you a contract extension?
He literally says the team sucked and wanted to make a change in the team because they suck but they should have just treated the players better.
Millennials are the generation that whines?
"Things had to change but that's not how"
The only words Aaron Ward is missing from this interview is "the old boys club" weren't treated fairly. |

There are always gripes when changes need to be made. But no old boys club left on Canucks. So it’s just do it or gone.
If only JB had the balls to waive a few vets instead of believing he was a genius trading them for OEL. - Quinn's Quest

Situation I thought seemed a bit odd.
Someone I know who billeted a Brandon Wheat King player shared a post from the kids father last week.
The post had to do with a package for TML development and rookie camp in July and Sept that his son had received.
What I find odd about it is that the player is still eligible to be drafted this year and next. Granted he is most likely not going to be drafted this year since he isn't a very good player.
If he was drafted this season though by another team, wouldn't that be considered what Chayka did in Arizona with "extra" workouts for players not under contract with them?
If the package was received after he wasn't drafted, that is fine as he would be just a camp invitee. |

Lol nice sidestep past the players going to the age old problem of who actually is in charge. |

They should have ponied up for Miller at the TDL. - manvanfan
As I said before, they deserve to lose because every year, they fail to go for it at the trade deadline and will soon see their window will be closed. |

I feel sorry for your pain trying to follow the Canucks. Let alone my posts on them. If only everyone could be as smart and good as you. |

They probably will try to add again in the off season. If only they could want a couple Canuck wingers lol. |

That's because Rod wasn't treated fairly by Paul Maurice when he wasn't any good anymore, so he won't treat his players like that. |

I think if they plan on maybe giving him a tryout as an undrafted free agent then it's fine. I believe the difference in Arizona's case was that they were working out kids that they had no real interest in, in the first place, and were putting them through their paces to see if they were good enough to warrant a camp invite. It is weird that they would send out a package like that before the draft especially if the kid and their parents don't think he's quite good enough to be drafted. There is also the possibility that TML might be wanting to take a flyer with a late round pick on him and that's why they sent out the package. I remember from when Colton Sissons was draft eligible, several teams sent out packages about their rookie camps and workouts but then he was expected to go in the late first/early second round (and ended up in the mid second via Nashville) |

Interesting. I guess as long as they aren't directly involved in his workouts or anything, it's not a fine.
That's what they were saying about the fine the Canucks paid right, the players can show up to skate on days where possibly a trainer is there but it can't be scheduled and assisted outside of the season. |

Signed Potential trade targets for Canucks 3lc.
Christian Dvorak
Jack Roslovic
Scott Laughton
Jean Gabriel Pageau
Garland or Boeser probably going back the other direction for these trades with a couple adds on in either direction. |
