Interesting to note that Tkachuk has the same number of goals in the series as Marner and Matthews.
And don't forget the Leafs gritted out all those OT goals in the Tampa series. - Tomahawk
đ they were arguably outplayed by Tampa, got the bounces this year in the first round. |

wonder where little Napoleon leaf's fan has been?
on paper they made good moves. They don't seem to have that "clutch" guy up front. To put a team on his back when needed. - hello it's me 2050
That group of guys doesnât have it, canât fail 6 years in a row and then blame it on the other teams goaltending lmao |

Same garbage under Hextall
Same garbage under Cuckles
Hak to Gordon to AV to Yeo to the arrogant SOB Torts.
Sorry, I have zero faith in this franchise. They still have Flahr overseeing the scouts. Dave Brown, Kjell Samuelsson and Barry Hanrahan are all still getting paychecks. I liked Briere as a player, but until a lot more heads start to roll and they start operating like a team that is truly rebuilding, Iâm not buying it. - BiggE

Ugh. I remember when Richards did the same thing to that guy on the Panthers and he was never the same after that. Thatâs a really violent hit. |

I'm not too sure why you think Philly should have won the lottery? You had a miniscule chance, and if you had your pathetic franchise would have blown it anyway like they did with the Nolan Patrick pick. Passed on Makar and Heiskenen and Pettersen. Not too smart - GPHawksfan

We continue to get connected to Oliver Moore in every mock draft I read. |

Devils seems done âď¸ Hopefully Brind'Amour can come here when flyers have a comptetive roster. The 2 ex-flyers Krakstol & Brind'Amour really have their teams buying in. They are not depending on superstars. |

After the 2nd, ESPN cause a pretty big group leaving the Devils game. A couple even covered their faces. |

Canes had the easiest road of all playoff teams. Got to give Krakstol credit. But he did play Vandevelde 82 games in a season here |

Yeah but didnât he put a 3 spot on assists in game 1, then the primary assist on the OT goal? I could be wrong. No the ot was bruins, it was the primary in the gw goal in game 2 |

Except for TOR/FLA, itâs amazing how many blowouts are happening in all the 2nd Round. Every other series. Kraken made a smart move getting Tolvanen off the wire. Any one of the other teams could have benefited by snapping up Martinook when he was there.

I just don't think you can give Tkachuk credit for OT heroics and attribute it to grit but not turn around and give the Leafs stars the same credit for their OT goals against Tampa. |

Collectively, imo the Leaf stars have been underwhelming. Mathews looks the most consistent and Marner has lagged behind him and the others. Willie looks all world for a period or half a game and then heâs not noticeable. Overall they seem to lack something intangible. I donât know if itâs heart, will, consistency or urgency or something else but something is missing. Beating TB was impressive but not that impressive. TB has gone to the SCF three years in a row and that takes a toll. Hedman missed some time and wasnât the same. TB wasnât nearly the team it was two years ago. Like it or not the Fab Four will deservedly catch blame if they donât make a competitive series. Wanna be the big dog then you gotta take the heat when you donât come up big.

Bedard is still technically underage, so going to that franchise he should be plenty nervous. As for being blown, your franchise sounds like it is pretty adept at knowing how that is done, especially for young players. Bedard better keep his room locked and stay away from the trainers if you know what I mean.
