Once the draft is done, Habs will answer these questions and we'll just have to live with their decision and hope for the best.

I just want the salary cap to go up on a regular basis so that we can get back to more trades. The stagnation of the cap, where teams expected it to keep growing to help mitigate the impact of contracts they signed several years back.

I hope that when a player or 2 slips in the draft, we get some big trades.

Maybe even by the Habs.

oh for sure, the cap going up can only be a good thing for richer teams like the habs. we might still see some trades going on during the draft, but those are hard to predict since even GMs don't know what to fully expect until they're on the floor in Nashville square-dancing with each other.
