I wouldn't pay much for him as anything more than 60 point player. Why not just wait another season and sign him as FA? Its not the Habs are going to be much better this coming season and really shouldn't be giving away assets while trying to rebuild. - Gramps28

if everyone stays healthy (big (frank)ing "IF" lol) they shouldn't be very far from making the playoffs imho. |

yep, they should be in it till the tdl, a bit like BUF, DET, OTT did last season.
that would be the best case scenario imo. |

well, actually making the playoffs wouldn't be such a bad thing either as a "best case scenario" lol |

things can change very quickly, let's see how things go next year. I don't have any expectations but I'm not expecting them to lose all the (frank)ing time either.
so I guess I do have expectations lol. |

i think they will be better, pat. health is the key but guys like anderson and even dach have been unlucky in the injury department. edmundson, too. |

yeah, they need to just shut that department down, it's been way too popular for habs players during the last couple of years, it's insane.

perfect would have been having the best odds. i mean it was a tank roster but i really don't believe there was any other choice. even with the guys they traded, they were nowhere near a playoff team. nothing worse than being stuck in mediocrity.
the tearing it down was the easy part. building a team is a lot harder even with the gift of bedard. |

They were much better untill Monahan went down, like in the playoffs race kind of better. The centre line is key and having Dach there for most of the season would help a lot. But less injuries than last season would help, any way. If guys like Caufield, Dach, Guhle, Wifi, etc can stay healthy, thats a miuch better team. Same with Matheson who did not play for while last season. He should help their pp as well. |

yeah I know, and CHI made some curious decisions concerning young players they could've used for a rebuild, but then again having them on the roster could've seriously hurt their chances of winning the lottery.
