I don’t embrace excuses…. I embrace solutions… both your boys will take up half the cap in two years…depth… you’ll never have any - bigfly46
I see you like to come in running your mouth but you're too scared to show what team you cheer for.

Sorry, but it has to be said...
Draisaitl totally mailed it in defensively tonight...literally Coasting, on his fkn heels, for 2 of the goals. 100% on him...LAZY. I was almost a believer but as they say "defense wins championships" and Leon had no interest in playing D tonight, when it counted the most!
McDavid wasn't far behind.
When it's obvious that 2 of your 3 highest paid players can't be on the ice at the same time (Drai, Nurse), there's a fkn problem!
Ekholm is the type of warrior we need...he must be looking around that room thinking "how in the fk can these fwds not care to get back with their man?" "How do they just fkn coast in the slot and not tie their guy up?"
Drai -4 and Nurse -3 when it counts the most is a damn shame. These are definitely not my Messier Oilers. He'd have had their heads!
Good fun this season on the HB gents, have a good summer... |

McDavid and especially Draisaitl are great value for their cap hits. Outside of Tkachuk name a single superstar still playing. It's not a coincidence. Lack of depth = low chance of postseason success. If you want to watch a few superstars dominate then go watch the NBA. - jfkst1

Very good, but I don't consider him a superstar at all. Don't really think anyone would. |

Your Draisaitl hate is getting tiresome and boring. This team has some issues but he is definitely not one of them.
I guess his 77 points in 49 playoff games isn't up to your standards? How good are you at your job? Give us a little insight into JLO's personal life.

Stop beating the oildrum and look around.. the comment on drai being absent on d is totally justified. And every time vegas scored i saw a close up of nurse. Something is not right with the oil. As a hawk fan i have hope now. |

Why don't I see the word "cup" in your statement? Nobody cares about his O stats. They actually lost in case you missed that, and Drai was -4 with probably 8 turnovers.
I'm right, I've always been right.

It was the Oilers 'collective' poor 5/5 play that cost them the series. Drai eventually cooled off and McD was double-teamed every shift 5/5. But the best players get past it and McD and Drai are close but also need support like any star players. Skinner finally crumbled in the bounce back game and was eventually going to be a hindrance in the series like the Oilers 5/5 play. Dallas should make short work of Vegas but have a feeling Gary wants his SEA/VGK conference finals.
