A 3LW who plays some C and can move up in the lineup might describe both of them.
I'd like to see more of Mitts as 2LW with Cozens. Their hesitancy to let that stick makes me wonder how they see this all fitting together. No shortage of 3LW options. - Lunaion
I’d agree with this if that’s the role Mittelstadt played this year
He was firmly the 4th most deployed forward behind the top line and ahead of Cozens.
Expecting Kulich to jump into that is a high bar. |

55 and 27 games would be perfect imo. 2:1 ratio - Hank Balling
Feels like you're slashing Hellebuyck's workload to less than he's ever played just to force Levi in. |

“ Kyle Dubas was coined “the next great GM”. While Buffalo subtly hired Kevyn Adams to turn around a franchise that was stuck.
“He has no experience” cried fans. He had more involvement with hockey operations than people knew.
And it’s paying off. #LetsGoBuffalo ”
This is just weird |

For sure I would lower it. 55 GP would put him 12th in the NHL instead of his league-leading 64 GP. That's going to happen naturally as he approaches 30 |

It was a strange team. Logically Mitts/Jost/VO was their 3rd line. In practice, sometimes it was their 4th and sometimes their 2nd for long stretches of time.
I'd think everyone agrees that Someone/Cozens/Quinn likely becomes a clear second line next season.

He was kept in secret for 9 years at Harbour Center Crafting his Skills, finally the Pegula's unleashed him on the Hockey World!! Kevyn "Vibes" Adams |

Missing the playoffs by a point will never and should never be viewed as some sort of an accomplishment - sbroads24
Apparently making the playoffs isn’t an accomplishment either.
Just ask Kyle Dubas |

Is it? I don't think 30 is that old for a G and he's shown no signs of it.
I don't love the rental plan, but I'd run him out 66 times if I'm going that route. Would also mean I'm pairing him with UPL and playing Levi in Roch. |

Yes one team doenst give a poop about feelings and it’s fans expect to be in the finals every year.
The other gets on its knees because a GM has a lot of cap space and finally didn’t finish last. |

So nothing you saw from Buffalo right down to the Winnipeg Ice the last 12 months didn’t encourage you at all ?
Would you be rather be a Rangers fan who are looking at mediocrity for the next decade ? |

To each his own. A Hellebuyck and Levi combo would have the Sabres seriously competing for the division imo. |

No, I’ll stick with being a fan of this team, but continue to point out how laughable it is that people write articles that Kevin Adams is revolutionizing the sport when he hasn’t accomplished anything yet |

Process leads to results.
Just like how Jack Quinn had solid underlying statistics from Game 1 but the results didn’t show till later in the year.
Some people need to see the results prior to giving praise.
I see the processes in place and have a damn good feeling the results will follow.

1.) Matthews for Levi +
2.) UPL, Mittelstadt and a pick for Hellebuyck
3.) Hellebuyck and Comrie reunite
4.) ???????
5.) Profit

I’m saying that if one GM is a joke because his team can’t make the playoffs when half the conference makes it, I fail to see why it’s such an accomplishment to just make the playoffs as well (given that half the teams make it).
To win a Stanley Cup you need elite talent and lots of it.
Despite the Sabres missing the playoffs, the front office is doing several things that will enable the Sabres to have a pretty long cup window. |

Yes, that window should’ve started this year. The team that finished with one more point is 3 wins from the cup |

Florida is also a lot better than their record indicated due to a variety of factors.
To assume the Sabres would knock off both Boston and Toronto is wishful thinking.
I mean the Rangers went to the ECF last year and got knocked out in Round 1 this year.
I’d rather much be a Sabres fan then a Rangers or Isles fan today even though both those teams made the playoffs this year
