Goes against everything Adams has been preaching. Your willing to do this know, but if you had done something last year. Your team makes the playoffs and gains even more development. - Buff36
He isn't doing any of that with Levi in the fold.
That kid looks like a stud..just needs time to refine his game. |

To "sell" this deal...
-Olo is a goal scoring RW for a team that needs help on the right...they are getting thinner there.
-Joker can play next to Heddy and fill the hole ok playing next to a great D partner.
-Olo @50% and Joker combine to less than Ciernaks Cap hit...it saves them some space but fills two spots
-Comrie displaces Elliot in a familiar BU role behind a Vezna Goalie...likely improves on Elliott's .891 SV% and wins a couple more games in his 25 starts then Elliott's 12
-Draft picks help to refill the pipeline so desperately needed
Ciernak would be a huge addition. His $5.2m Caphit is very good for what he brings. - IonSabres
Cernak is very intriguing and his Cap hit is fantastic. Only bad thing is he is hurt alot |

Good post
Cernak seems as likely to be traded as cozens or tage.
Freshly inked below market core type players.
Good convo for may , but very unlikely IMO.

That what the early offseason is all about IMO.
The what the "Sabres really do" vs creative ideas for what they should do has been a very easy discussion the last couple years...they have done virtually nothing of significance... so projecting another offseason of coloring around the edges has been pretty easy.
The fun discussion, to me anyway, are those that consider where the holes are and which candidates there are to fill them. 99% of those are only wishful thinking, but coming up with good rational as to why, That is the fun for this time of year. |

Completely agree, wasnt trying to rain on your parade.
Sadly, i think we have the 2023-24 Sabres already.
Add a 4th type d man on day 2 of free agency.
Losing some of our brain trust to Pittsburgh would really suck. I have strong confidence in getting another impact prospect at 13. Now I'm worried.... maybe we move the pick if our guys get plucked?

There’s a chance Savoie gets into games with the Amerks, per sources. They’ll give him time to practice and get acclimated. He’ll then have an opportunity to earn his way into the lineup. |

On the goalie front
Wouldn't maf make more sense?
Minnesota looking to clear more salary
Has one more year at $ 3.5
Him and Levi both french
He knows he's at the end of his career
Cost to acquire shouldn't be too high

That's a hard one. Nightingale and Crowe were here already and just internal promotion. Damn Lunaion, that's a good ? and also depressing thought at the same time. |

Any chance craig Anderson returns in a 20/25ish game back up role?
Based on levi playing 7 of 9 , I'm still beating the 55-60 start drum.
KA loves him. Comrie waived to Rochester in case of injury |

No.
If it was too risky to waive Comrie last year, there's no difference this year. That one really got under your skin last year, really want to go down that route again?

If we had 5 more starts from Anderson we probably make the playoffs. But he couldn't even do that. |

I think comrie blows. He could have remained a rfa Winnipeg jet if he started a handful more games in 2021.
They didnt value him and neither do I.
The Sabres probably do and I assume he's assigned to Rochester or cut out right.
Anderson could come back |

Guaranteed deals.
He might clear out of camp. You never know during the season. Backups you've never heard of get claimed because of injuries.
Anderson looked terrible down the stretch. There's nothing left. |

Yea forgot about Ventura. This would freaking hurt.
Pegula needs to step up and promote them to save them and keep them here |
