He played 41 games this year, the most he's ever played, they're not going to give him 34% more starts as a rookie. He will struggle at times. They need a steady hand to play the lion's share of the games.

Just look back to the last highly touted college goalie in Buffalo, played 15 NHL games his rookie year and did fine, 2.63 .902. 2nd year he played 3 NHL games and struggled mightily 5.08 .795. It wasn't until his 3rd NHL season, he played 2 full years in Rochester between those 3 games and his next NHL action, granted 1 was because of the lost season, before he'd play 48 NHL games as a 25 year old.

We haven't heard much, but we will see how far Adams wants to push things if we hear about a Girgensons Okposo signing. Once that happens it's basically bring back the band other than maybe Savoie.

Definitely would make it interesting. Nadeau could play to if they thought he was ready. Doubt they would want to take away from to many players that helped get them there. But injuries do happen.

That’s where Adams POHO, Karmanos GM. Ventura Associate GM… might help. Promotions all around. Over pay where you need to. Keep the band together.

You can always make Ventura an associate or assistant GM. Ventura was not in the running to be GM according to the big bois. I think Karmanos was but it seemed like Tulsky and Dan MacKinnon were leading candidates.

They'll do what they need to do to keep Ventura. There are other capable guys in this league that can do what Karmanos does.
