Vegas will be tight but probably fine. Bruins have 6 million to sign Swayman, a defenseman and six forwards. Hall and Coyle have NMC so that should be fun for them.

Dahlin - samuelsson
Power - top 4 D

Then you can rotate joker, stillman, Lybuskin as the 3rd d pair.

That is so much better than Clauge, Bryson, and Fitzgerald from last year.

The current joker from this past year would be a good 3rd pairing d

Lybuskin after mid January was really good for what his role is

And stillman is stillman.

Bishop had absolutely nothing to do with this active roster. He prevented nothing and only added insurance to ensure moves could be made if they wanted to.

Now can we discuss how Adams should have expected this roster to perform better than expected? I guess so. But not one singular person on this planet saw the Sabres getting to within 1 point of the POs.

Having a better defense covers their inefficiencies. Doesn't mean they'll be 'better'. They'll just appear to be more competent. UPL and Comrie had embarrassing individual numbers this past season. Goalies are voodoo so we can only guess how next season will go. If I were to pick a guy, I'd say Comrie comes back with better numbers. Ya know, if he's even here. I think UPL is what is he is. His goalie IQ lags behind his physical traits.

Absolutely agree taco, but I still think donnie's system and the young team lead to worse numbers for all 4 goalies. Very little team defense, the idea was to score goals and not particularly worry about stopping them.

Just aging power and samuelsson another season, even dahlin still has room to improve.

Add another 2nd paring, sliding guys like joker down to a more manageable level.

Upl was essentially a rookie right, he absolutely should beat his current statistics.

I'm still looking at his better then .500 record.( 17-11-4 )
