Nah ive been around the fan base long enough to know the groaning would be endless.

It doesn't have to be the first move. It also doesnt matter what order they happen in.

The okposo move is so inconsequential for this team right now. Moves on the blue line and in net will dictate whether they can take the next step. And his signing doesn't prohibit them from making those moves.

Next year is a new year.

The third line was a black hole for 80% of the season until Mittelstadt had his epiphany and they finally sat Olofsson.

Okposo should be slotted correctly in his role this year.

As long as the Sabres top 3 lines do their jobs (which hasn’t been the case) Okposo won’t be a problem.
