Theyve just never been good. Look at the size of that metro area compared to others in the league. Look at Carolina, Nashville, Florida, Tampa, and on and on. They just need a chance to win. So again, no I’m not rooting for their players and prospects to start forcing their way out

Craig Morgan did a really good piece on the Jeff Marek show. The building of the arena in Glendale ended up killing them. The owner got a sweetheart deal as expectation was population growth in area and that location killed them. |

It's everything with them. Multiple owners. League a control at one point. Gretzky/Tocchet Gambling saga, drafting Mitchell Miller, previous minority owner arrested and banned. Enough. NHL might already be out of the major 4 sports context in terms of North America. The Coyotes make it look like an even bigger joke. |
