I would exchange Kuz for Demko. Sign a veteran and run with Silovs. Heck, Aiden (3rd string) Hill is in the SCF! - Shuswap Wap
I like that and keep the 11OA as well that would be amazing. Though huge suck against competitive ability and ROR signing a big if he would like to come to such a depleted team. |

Six years to win a Stanley Cup for Las Vegas, assuming, incredible when you realize they just took a bunch of castoffs from other teams, no stars, and kept pushing and pushing with trades until they found the right combination. |

No way VAN copes with the physicality of post season play as it stands today. |

I don’t think they have to worry about that for a few years. |

Every team ramps it up in the playoffs. So would the Canucks. |

Here is my proposal to CBJ, I am no expert like Nighthawk, but it might be in the ballpark.
JTM and Kuzmenko for their first and Boone Jenner? I think it would catch their attention? We keep our first. That is a lot of scoring power we are sending their way. - VANTEL
I thought they are trading their 11th OA? |

You have to make the playoffs to ramp it up. |

Why can't they still? That 11 th is gone for another Dman.

I don’t think a drafted Canuck player has ever been on a Cup winning team. If not, that’s about to change for 2023 SCF we have one on each team. Of course they are defenders the weakest position Canucks have. |

Nice work! I forgot they were drafted as I guess sort of the new guys will be as well years from now.
So Daigneault with the Habs last Canadian team to win it. Larionov all those times with Wings but man he shouldn’t be considered a draft pick. Then of course, Lidster with Rangers against the Canucks.
So all different eras Canucks suck on holding on to assets to be difference makers. Or is it just players suck when Canucks cause that is the norm then and now? |

I have no idea... I just scrolled through a Canucks draft list and found names that might have won. I'm sure there's more, I didn't name check everyone
But ya, Cooke won as well |

So four guys in a 53 year history? I know teams win Cups, not individual players, but (frank) me, no wonder they’ve never won a Cup!!
Drafting is everything!! I could name off 15-20 drafted Flyers players who’ve won a Cup. |

I think it'd be easier to name more if the Canucks themselves won a cup
I'm sure there's a few more... don't care enough to look though |

I had a quick look, I think that’s it. And yes, of course if they’d have won it that’d be easier, obviously. I could still name a dozen Flyers drafted players who never won it with Philadelphia.

With Eichel in the cup final, it brings me back to the 2015 draft drama between him and McJesus. In the end, I wonder who will have more cups… |
