Yes lots will play 200 games but the key word was shine. If Gaunce plays a full season this year he will hit 200 games but I would not think of a star lever player if he hits 200.
Wahlstrom has 163 games and 32 goals 69 pts. Again a serviceable player but does not shine - VANTEL
Reclamation to the right team could help him.

After 126 games Wahlstrom had 25 goals .
After 118 games Podkolzin had 18 goals
Wahlstrom was drafted for his scoring, Podz was taken as an all around player. The numbers are not that far apart. Assists are a different story but I am not sure if Wahlstrom was playing with same type of players? I sort of remember Podz playing with Hogs and I can't remember TBH. Anyways seems like normal progression for the 21 year old. |

His offence has gotten him into those talks. He could be a real gem to the right team. I like him if we add more big defensive D. Then again he’s not NHL ready so there is time to address that. D Petey would be a nice start if he keeps projecting well along with 1 other vet. - Nighthawk

Not much of a debate. Canuck fans calling a 21 year old a bust.
I liked last week when Silovs voted MVP at the worlds and it took 30 seconds for fans to put him on the trade block. 30 minutes later complaing we don't have good prospects.

Dude, how many goals did he score last year? Why not Compare him to Virtanen while you are at it |

The lengths fans go to defend the teams garbage young players is hilarious |

Are you day drinking again?
The kid is 21 years old. Have you ever heard of any player in the history of the NHL having a sophomore slump? You are telling me that no player hasn't been as good in his second year and they all project upwards.
I read about two pages back no need to rush players and here we are calling a 21 year old a bust.

It's an Adam Fox type of offence though. You could ASP and D-Petey as a future 2nd pair. You have to hope that Hughes and Hronek turn themselves into Makar and Toews type of pair then.
I have wondered whether you could Simashev and Hronek into a Pelech-Pulock type pairing. |

He isn’t a bust. He is exactly the player I predicted in his draft year. Stupid, slow and weak. Keep going in circles trying to defend him though as it’s entertaining. He may yet turn out to be a serviceable 4th liner if he grows some balls but what a waste of a 10th overall pick |

He is probably 2 to 3 years away before he becomes a Canuck bust so you need to still find stop gaps for the next two years. IMO

They'd get owned by a heavy team. - VanHockeyGuy
Maybe so but they certainly did not turn the other cheek. I thought Burroughs and Schenn did a great job at adding toughness. I am curious to see if they bring back Juulsen. He had some big hits.
Bo was definitely turn the other cheek guy but he is gone, and I do like Dakota who definitely gets in the mix.
Miller had some good scuffles and even Myers stood up even if he lost.

Yes that’s surprising. There are good and bad fights though. The Canucks didn’t fight to stand up for each other |
