Not sure why Oliver Bonk isn't getting more recognition, solid 2 way defenseman. |

You are so full of shit today itâs not even funny! The Kings just had a 104 point season and are loaded with kids that are starting to contribute in a meaningful way. Sure theyâre still relying on veteran players but look at this list of 25 and under kids THEY DRAFTED on their roster. You sound uninformed like Vantel.
Vilardi
Byfield
Kaliyev
Michael Anderson
Jaret Anderson-Dolan
Kupari
Brandt Clarke
Alex Turcotte
Jordan Spence
Tobias Bjornfot
They wanna compete, canât blame them. But they have a nice base of kids there ready to compete for spots. - LeftCoaster
Sure they are still relying on veterans he says because all those draft picks are panning out. Do you read the poop you say? That list of players 95% of it has done (frank) all but I guess just add it to the list of Leftyâs teams. |

What I heard today was tools but lack of hockey IQ.
Plus he has been talked about lots just not by anyone who needs a pat on the back and a âgood jobâ attached.
Plus plus because Van doesnât have a 2nd or a late first. So why talk about someone not in the range of any Van pick a bunch.

Well uneducated posters like lefty keep foolishly talking about trading down. If they did, Bonk would be their range

Hearing a lot a tid bits from a lot of things but crickets from Van media on what Van has done at the combine or interviewed. - manvanfan
Who they take to dinner is who is on their list to pick. At least that is what you would think. Maybe they are playing it really tight to have flexibility on trades with the pick. |

OJ 2.0?
That would go over well if they drafted another Knights player who can't pivot. I mean OJ was a great transitional two way defender.
Also to elaborate it was the lack of intuition and instinct in the hockey IQ. By the book type of defender. They compared him to a Chris Tanev in that manor. |

That would be the ultimate epic meltdown here.
I really don't know enough about the prospects to make a pick this year. That said I'll hope they luck out and land a good C or D at 11 or?

More like an Alex Edler type, the typical jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none that can do everything well but not exceptionally well. Truthfully, that's kind of what you want in a your second pair number 3 anchor or 4 partner if you have a more offensive-type 3 |

Craig's list is always so much fun to look at. It's not as bad as we like to joke about most years but it's got a lot of "what have you done for me lately" feel to it sometimes.
Mitchell Brown
Zach Benson: the top passer in the #2023NHLDraft.
A puck protection machine along the boards. Incredibly deceptive. Limitless passing skill. Always chooses the right play. Strikes the perfect balance between patience and pace. And he's the best defensive forward in the draft.
/Cam Robinson/
I just want to reiterate how bothered Iâm going to be when this kid falls into the teens.
Benson reminds me of Clayton Keller. At times thinking he belongs in the top 10 and he might. He's a smallish winger and Keller did go over a PPG this year but he has a career PPG .01 less than Boeser. He has played with a poopty team though. Find where he fits in the 2015 forward class and by the team you add in the centers that score a little less but have more value with size and being a center. I find myself putting him in that 10-14 range by the time you add in a defender or two. |

That's only if you have serious interest in drafting him. I would let him pass by and take Wood, Leonard and I still wouldn't mind taking Yager at 11.
If consistency is Yager's biggest issue, that might be one of the easier traits to overcome. He shoots, he's added playmaking, skates well in all directions. Right shot center. As Danielson said he plays in all 3 zones. He will get better when he added 20 lbs as well so room for growth. |

Sure, if they want to trade down. Not the type of player I'd be looking for at 11. |

Yager is a very interesting pick, I was hoping heâd be there for the Flames at 16. Reinbacher slipping to 20th, 3rd ranked D, I donât see him getting out of the top 10.

I can't see Reinbacher falling out of the top 10 either but if he does, probably goes 11th to Van.

Craig has him at 18. I had no idea at this point in time.
Playoffs are big to see who steps up and 16 points in 10 games. 2nd highest by a draft eligible.
A friend went and saw two of the playoff games vs the Winnipeg Ice and he said that Yager was probably the only reason why MJ was in most of those games. He's thinking about taking him 7th in his keeper league. He knows what he is doing considering that keeper league is a grand a year to be in.
I also just made a case for if Willander(R. Andersson), Simashev(K. Miller), ASP(90% of A. Fox), Reinbacher(Dobson) all hit their ceilings and NHL comparables to me that they would not be much of a reach at 11. |

I could easily see the Canucks targeting Tom Willander at No. 11. Right-shot d-man who can defend, AND he's a Swede. |
