I could easily see the Canucks targeting Tom Willander at No. 11. Right-shot d-man who can defend, AND he's a Swede. - VanHockeyGuy
The Canucks canât trade down if they want Willander as he wonât be there, in fact, he may not make
It to 11. Canucks took Willander, Barlow, and Daniellson out to dinner at the combine |

It sounds like a lot of teams are going to reach for players. I'd move back a few spots then and pick up another asset. |

Willander is going high and they would be lucky to draft him at 11 imo. Itâs not that teams are going to reach, itâs that this draft will be very volatile beyond the top 3. Willander could go at 6 it wouldnât be surprising. Did DET reach when they took Seider at 5? Probably not, he was likely that high on their list. Folks get way to caught up on basement bloggers draft lists |

I'd say they've got it right that he is in the same tier as players like Danielson and Barlow. Defence are in need and have sneaky value.
Rasmus Andersson who I said could be his ceiling played 24 minutes a night and is avg about 50 points per season over the last two years. That's a top 30 D in the NHL these days. |

Iâm totally fine with taking the best available center or D this draft. Lots of interesting centers should be available at 11. I prefer not discussing Flames players |

Really no because the draft has turned into a pretty big dud. Seider a 6'4" defender who held his own vs men all season as a 17 year old. The DEL league is a good league.
Willander didn't play more than a couple of games in the SHL and didn't exactly dominate the junior ranks. He had a Forsling type season. That might be the whole copy cat league that Forsling a 5th round pick by the Great Jim Benning is now playing top pair minutes in the SCF.
I really dislike a lot of the basement bloggers draft lists because they all find a couple guys and take that huge swing to make a name for themselves. Pronman does it every year and people pay to read his poop |

Bro. Do your dekes. đBOTCH
@priored
All 3 players would be a mistake at 11., you better be wrong ,they can get these players in the 19-30 range so this means they are trading down for sure, why cant you see this??. They should be targeting:
Dvorsky
Leonard
Reinbacher
Pellikka
Perreault
Wood
Stenberg
Stephen Rowe
@Stephen86301158
Not a fan of any of them. Low ceiling players, targeted for profile above skill. Low hockey iq players!
Dvorsky, Reinbacher, Moore, Leonard, Benson, Sale one will be available. Not everyone agrees about Danielson, Barlow, Willander |

Who are these idiots and why is Pellican so highly ranked and how does this idiot know they will be available late in the first round. Every moron that watches hockey becomes a draft expert every June. Rather annoying |

Willander may be a Swede but he has above average size and has a mean streak â¤ď¸. Whoever we draft, please no more soft smurfs 𤢠|

Twitter guys and everybody has their bias. Except for me. Sort of.
I don't have a bias in that speed trumps everything or he's a big physical center, so he moves up 15 spots, even though he doesn't have other skills.
I ranked based on how a player projects to the NHL and most of it is a starting base off what scouts or insiders have said about players and a lot are just put into tiers and could care less who they get from whatever tier. |

Bobfather has Willander at 46?
https://www.eliteprospect...ayer/599426/tom-willander - VanHockeyGuy
As I said earlier, he had a Gustav Forsling type of season. A mediocre regular season, turn it up a bit after Christmas, break out at the u18s. That was a 5th round pick that took 6 years to work out and 4 teams. Now he is talked about as the 11th overall pick in a strong draft. |

"You don't win with players like Eichel" - someone in here who hates Eichel.
Conn Smythe talk
Marek said he believes Eichel should win.
Elliotte says he's leaning Eichel as well.
Seravalli says it's a toss up for him between Eichel and Marchy.

Heâs a late riser. I donât know what to say other then RHD that can skate and have size are hard to come by and he fits that. His skill set is steady. Practical level he can play in Abby sooner than later. |
