Fans love their own players. I think JJ's ceiling is too high for Bouchard.

Cozens last year had a big world championship. Came in to the season stronger and broke out. Imagine if he wasn't playing with 2 rookies most of the year.... woof. I think JJ is on this trajectory.

He's going to get more than we should be willing to pay when we already have guys that are 10x better.

Yes.

Do I think it makes sense for Buffalo ? Meh.

With Dahlin and Power getting big money soon, and Skinner/Tuch having 3 years left, I think Peterka as a legitimate top 6 winger holds more value.

I value it when he's not playing big minutes. Jesus Dahlin averaged 7 min more a game during the year and had 61. It tells me he has the puck alot, but he is sloppy with it to.

Interesting idea.

When it comes to flipping an F for D, that's about as good as it could possibly get, imo. I'd add to get that done.
