Canes goalies and hill products of a good team in front of them.
Aka stats are scewed - Sabretooth9
OK then let's get a Top 4D and play better overall team defense and maybe that won't be the case if we got one of them. |

Really took of, was hoping we might snag him at 39 5 or 6 months ago. He fits the Sabres who cares what side you play on motto. |

I commented on Hart earlier. I didn't realize his cost would be that high. I assumed he was a ok price with a few bad seasons. I would pass on him too |

Friedman at the intermission says you're going to hear Noah Hanifin's name a lot this offseason, 1 year left, teams are calling about him.

By this logic every athlete should just sign long term as early as possible?
So do you think Matthews/Marner made mistakes even though they’re both in great leverage positions to get all time big $$ deals? - sbroads24
Every person should do what they think is best for them and their families. Having a shít ton of guaranteed money in your pocket is appealing to some, betting on yourself and possibly having a shít ton plus at a later date is appealing to others. There is no right or wrong answer, hence the conversation. Guys with families and kids (tage) seem to value the money in the bank approach. Power isn't that, he can do him. To just assume he's not smart to sign on a line and have a guaranteed 60-70 million dollars guaranteed in his bank account is up to him too. Guy could come down with a career ending injury/diagnosis tomorrow for all we know. |

Aside from the Edmonton one, which of these, if any, would you say yes to from the Chicago perspective?
Mock trades with Chicago for the number one pick (Bedard):
- Edmonton = McDavid
- St. Louis = Kyrou, Thomas, all three 2023 first round picks (10th, 25th, 29th)
- Arizona = Keller, Cooley, both 2023 1st's (6th, 12th), Arizona 2024 1st
- Vancouver = Pettersson, Quinn Hughes, 2023 1st (11th), 2024 1st, 2025 1st
- Montreal = Both 2023 1st's (5th,31st), 3 of the following: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Kirby Dach, Kaiden Guhle, Slafkovsky, Filip Mesar
- Nashville = ALL 13 2023 picks

Well, I guess Arizona could say yes just cause there a wacky Organization. But those other teams would be crazy to give up that much future for 1 player. And Bedard is a special player, but he's gotta have someone to play with to. |

Carry 3 all year? Hope not. Couldn't get that 3rd guy enough work with 1 G who could barely play once a week. - Lunaion
They didn't have a 3rd guy for vast portions of the season. |
