Stupid (frank)ing rhetoric about this Savoie crap like give it a rest it is nonsense - Jet Jaguar BD
Agreed. I was surprised Savoie got into the lineup in game 2. Figured they'd put him in at home in game 3 or 4. But to say the series turned because this messed ip team chemistry is total nonsense, summer clickbait. |

Sorry if it’s already out there because I’ve been away for the weekend but multiple sources confirmed the plan is for Sabres 22 1st round pick Noah Ostlund to play in the SHL next season.
I believe it’ll be for Vaxjo but haven’t confirmed that 100% |

Yeah, doesn't surprise me. Kid needs to get bigger, and after watching Savoie he needs to develop that core some more. And become stronger on his skates along the boards and corners |

Again, this is why the Amerks need Farmer John coaching them - RichardRoma
I don't follow this. Who the frank is Farmer John? I presume it's a nickname, just don't know who you are talking about. |

Don't care that much to keep asking. It's just annoying when people use nicknames or joke names rather than just saying who they're talking about. I'm not backreading 3 years to see what Homie said. |

Homie didn’t say it 3 years ago. It’s a quote in his avatar. The next time he posts, ask him. |

Can you effectively fake threat while they are in the middle of building a stadium? Can the Pegulas even make the threat at all? - Lunaion
Yes, if it wasnt the pegula's, people would and should be scared of losing this franchise.
This market has been destroyed. Ticket sales suck.
You would guaranteed 5 years of sell outstanding and maybe licences if they moved to houston or Quebec.
Pegulas cost some of this mess, but fortunately they are buffalo based and terry still loves the team. I'm sure the nfl is a bunch of fun. And time consuming...... |

But it is the Pegulas....
I don't think they'd play hardball here or have any success if they did. Also wonder if they'd be willing to pay whatever is required on their side, while building the stadium.

I agree
Pretty easy to call their bluff. Until it backfires.
I could see them wanting a new building, that's part of why they aren't fixing anything. Even warm water of the bathrooms at times.
Bet they try and play some outdoor games at the new stadium if possible.
Maybe play in hamilton for 1 year during construction?

Most of the team in Rochester are career AHL’ers. Fringe NHL players, then prospects…
Regardless of any of that, you want to see what this kid is made of at every level possible and throwing him into the lineup in the AHL playoffs was a great test for him.
Hershey are one of the best teams in the AHL every year. Rochester played them tight but the problem wasn’t a 19 year old - In fact, I would argue the opposite - there are too many Jeremy Davies and Brett Murrays and not enough Matt Savoies and Lawrence Piluts. |

So a ? For Everyone:
Which Prospect gets traded in your Opinion:
I think Ostlund and maybe Rosen get traded, could be both depending on how far Adams wants to push it. Should be able to take a very good forward at 13 if need be. |

4 Target Teams IMO that could have D available if Adams works it:
Winnipeg
Tampa
Anaheim
Vegas
There are a few others, but Cap wise these could be teams to be calling

It's likely Calgary or Boston. Anaheim has no defenders with redeeming qualities. Tampa's are locked in long term. |

Anaheim has one if not the deepest Defensive Pools in the league. Tampa is up against it and has a few young guys ready to step in, they might move a contract. |

Yo mean prospects? Why is a rebuilding team moving prospects? If you mean NHLers that's simply not true. They were awful defensively, and the d-core shares responsibility for that.
Cant see tampa moving anyone if cole walks. |

Because they have 8 in there top 15, they are D heavy like we are forward heavy.
Good point with Cole, but I would still make a call.
And I mean both, we need prospects and NHL Defenseman and these teams in some way or another could help. |

Well no because our forwards are good and we want to keep them and their d-men aren't. Quantity =/= Quality. 5 of those 8 on the nhl roster have expiring contracts and they're likely only keeping Drysdale from that bunch.
ANA D prospects are nice but again, a rebuilding team isnt going to move those guys given that they need well, all of them. |
