I would do this trade. - Buff36
Would you do Savoie + #13? I think that's closer to what it would take.

I'd like to see an advanced stat comparison between Krebs and Mitts age 22 year - DirtyDan
Mittelstadt's were better at that age but it's largely due to the major gap in offensive numbers. Brings it back to the original question about whether Krebs might have had the same numbers mittelstadt did if he received a similar role with better offensive players. |

After my first shot I got sick 5 times over 6 months. Not one test came back positive for covid. Never get sick more than once or twice a year.
Masks and less exposure to people probably didn't help but that vaccine was definitely a scam |

Solidifies the top 4 D for years and years. While the top forwards are essentially in place.
Would just need to figure out the goalie position till Levi is ready

Watching the fallout of the jabs play out over the next 10,20,50 years will likely be infuriating, its already starting. Glad I wasn't stupid enough to fall for it. Pray for all that did. |

Unrelated to any specific trade scenario: I couldn't possibly care less about any 2024 picks. |

That's an insane trade for a guy with 59 GP in NA. last year's 9 and this year's 13 for last year's 6?
And why would they be trading him in the first place? |

I agree on getting a proven NHL player, but not a guy drafted last year. That's crazy |

I wouldn't do this years 1st, I would give them next years 1st though. I would even use a 3rd or 4th this year to. |

Because he's a big time prospect who had an excellent rookie season in the AHL at the highest commodity position in the NHL: RHD.
The Sabres would have to overpay to get him from Columbus. |

Yes they would, but they have the assets to do it if they think he's the one. What a D core that would be. Could even have Johnson Joker as your 3rd pair until one of the Russians or a draft pick this year maybe ready. |

2 1st round assets for higher ranked NHL ready D that perfectly fits their need. High price, but I'd do it.

He's the type you go after, even if you have to overpay a bit, the Sabres have the luxury of doing that right know. I would overpay for Luneau right now to. We have the assets to absorb that. |

If Krebs replaced Girgensons long term I wouldn’t be mad. He actually has offensive upside. He could be a Jochen Hecht type of guy for us and I want to see him develop.
Between him and Mitts, I keep him (Krebs). Mitts might have more value in a trade anyway. |

Overpaying "a bit" is trading undetermined Matt Savoie and Victor Olofsson for undetermined David Jiricek. Using, oh I don't know, Matt Savoie and Dmitri Simashev or god forbid Matvei Michkov for David Jiricek is gross negligence.

Well I guess you missed my other post, where I said I would not use the 2023 1st. We have other picks and prospects that could be used. I would use the 2024 1st Savoie and a + if that's what it took. And then draft Simashev at 13 |
