Can you believe Jamie Benn, one of the dirtiest player in the league, had never been suspended before these playoffs? Just fined a few times. Which means the league basically sent him a message during all his years in the league that what he's doing was/is just fine.

The DOPS is a joke, none of it's actions helps clean up the game or makes player accountable for their actions.

I don't know who's a "dirty" player anymore other than Perry. Everyone seems to get called one when they do something someone doesn't like.

But the fines are too cheap, even for league minimum players. Make it % based so you aren't just giving millionaires a "fee" to do whatever they want to do.

Honestly, that Bennett punch to Knies really ticks me off. Just the fact it was supposed to look like he was wrapping his arm around Knies but was punching him instead.

The fact DOPS did nothing for a concussion just tells me the league doesn't actually care about CTE or anything like that.
