Habs could use a center, a few skilled wingers, grit up front, RHD, goalies..... - Symba007

if we're talking about the 1st round though I doubt they pick a goalie, even if they keep that late pick...

I agree, they will use the 37th overall to pick a goalie IMO |

- deadpoulet

I don't necessarily disagree, but it must be hard to evaluate who the best player available is while comparing dmen vs forwards... also the habs do need to add some goal-scoring on their roster as well. - Pat1993
I think you always go BPA
but I was just saying that it could make sense to get a guy who they think might reach that level. they will need that sooner than later. Could be harder to find than a top 6 winger.
But the LHD late in the first round...I don't know. If the guy is that much better than all the other prospects, sure. But if you gonna go with a D, could they at least pick a RHD there? that late is a bit of a crapshoot anyway.
I guess you can always trade a prospect for what you want after or need. So just go BPA or what you think is BPA. |

yup, habs management team have a lot of homework to do, and they probably already have a very good idea who they're going for, the draft being in less than a month from now...
probably one of the most interesting drafts in recent years, can't (frank)ing wait to see what happens.
