the important thing is that he's able to forget about it, so that it doesn't put his core Christian values in shambles.

Lui, c’est tu une ostie tarte…

that reminds me a family story, an old one. we were at the restaurant, mom das my 5 y/o brother and me, 8y/o. ordering, service.... the waitress was not very good, not her day I guess. short story, my dad says to my mom discreetly 'aie, elle c't'une tarte'.
30 min later we go out but not before paying at the cash register, behind the counter the waitress and her boss. Jimmy the Greek, not even kidding.
and my young brother to go out loud proud like peacock : ' my dad says that c't'une tarte. '

the look on my father's face.... lol
good memories

funny how that isn't really an insult at all in English... "wut, I'm a pie? ok, sure..."

Vegas has a very stationary PP.

And being very spread out makes it tough to get the 2 on 1's situations teams look for on the PP

I do enjoy a good underdog goalie story for sure. the guy is 27, and has played a grand total of 112 games in the NHL.

if he continues progressing like that it gives me hope that Montembeault could turn out to be better than everyone was expecting...

panthers are just taking runs all over the ice. vegas needs to gordie howe a couple of them. stick the blade of you stick against the boards and slide the top hand down a bit to let them run into the butt end.

Yes. Spent quite a few years in the minors and would have been the goalie in 2010 except the hawks were so cap strapped than niemi made the team cause he made about 100K less.

goalies are absolute voodoo, pat

and yeah, goaltending is definitely the most unpredictable position in terms of evaluating talent and determining what their "ceiling" is development-wise. it takes a certain kind of personality and demeanor to be able to cope with the pressure that comes with the job.
