In reply to a post hoping Gudas would be good to go after that hit, I simply replied he took a shoulder to the face.

I will lol imagining the probable difference in the opinion stated if Gudas was the one on the other end of that hit, though.

Will you lol if I say the hit on Eichel was clean?

That was a nice hit, looked scary when Eichel toe picked into it.

My only question after that clean hit by Chukky on Jack is, a couple of Vegas players stopped playing to go after Chukky. Matching 2s and 10s result, whatever, poop happens in scrums....but how does Vegas “jump” a guy after a clean hit and not come out of it with at least an extra two for starting it all by retaliating (for a clean hit)??
Definitely some uneven officiating going on. Pietroangelo can break sticks across people’s upper arms/back area (twice in game 1), FL getting no such leeway in the first two games.
Not that they still wouldn’t be losing, as they’re just playing all around poopty hockey right now. FL looked freaking terrible last night.

NHL reffing is inconsistent - at best.

FL got some leeway in the earlier rounds. Bennet is no saint. And Tkachuks after-whistle activities throughout the playoffs probably caused some pay-back by the refs.

Tkachuk and Bennett only take penalties after the game is out of hand. Why not try and get into the heads of your opponent and disrupt their game? The ones you should be pointing fingers at are Barkov and Reinhart who play girlie hockey. They're just going through the motions.

It's time for another Keith Tkachuk pep talk!

Maurice likes to shorten his bench, this makes it hard for the Panthers who are gassed by the third period. The Panthers don't have the speed that the Knights do, so we're forever chasing the puck as the Knights get to it first. But to keep playing your favorites doesn't help when there is nothing left in the tank. You have to equally roll four lines to keep the players fresh.

Whatever team want is a gigantic goalie. Hill is one of them. With all that equipment on him, how are you supposed to get it past him without getting in his face and disrupting him? Tkachuk is doing everything possible to get him off his game.

Shortens his bench? When I cringe every time I see line 4 out there in the 3rd period!

The way this league works? Heck man some team will give him a Cal Peterson style contract just for that one epic save.

Line four scored one of the goals in game one. Eric Staal is not a bad fourth centerman. I agree Colin White is a waste, but it's time to give Giavani Smith a try at it. Barkov is a liability and has been on the ice when the Knights score goals. I would trade Barkov for Auston Matthews in a second.

Excuse me but the 4th line did no such thing. Eric Staal scored in a penalty killing roll. The 4th line has done literally nothing but get hemmed in the defensive zone. Now i must discount everything you say.

Why don't you tell Maurice to roll only three lines and see how that goes for you, Duh!

Maurice needs to change up his lines. Drop Verhaghe down to the Bennett line. Put Lundell up there with his Finland buddy Barkov. And Put Givani Smith on the fourth line to add toughness. The third line would center Reinhart left-wing Lomberg and right-wing Cousins.

Hopefully luostarinen gets back in and then none of the above has to happen.
Lomberg could go back to line 4 and that line improves. Luo is missed on line 3, and pk. The defense looking poopty is showing as Luostar isn’t there to help cover some of the lapses.

Mo says,
No luostarinen for game 3

Idk, maybe Lomberg back to 4th line, restore whatever that line had going, and maybe Dalpe does better with line 3 ? Idk
Their lack of depth is glaring, right now. We knew all along it was there, and would be this summer before they had cap space to address the problem.

Gudas expected to play. I hope he’s really good to go. He’s gotten hammered in both games so far.
