I still believe it would be a huge mistake for the Flyers to trade Hart. However he is their best asset to move this rebuild forward. I would not trade Hart unless I was getting something huge back, for example say Anheim's 2nd overall pick or Columbus' 3rd overall pick. It really has to move the needle forward significantly on the rebuild for me to consider trading Hart. - jd250
he is not thier best asset. TK is the best asset.
2nd overall pick for Hart lol. Wow thats funny.

Proven by the many Cups that Tkachuk has won!
- MJL
Guy's team is currently behind in the finals and yet he's a better player than McDavid. What is going on |

the best teams take numerous cracks at it to win the cup, McDavid is no different. Making a decision on one run is not a great way to build a team. Love MT's game but I take McDavid 100 out of 100 times - wcorvette
And it’s not close…McDavid is the worlds best player. |

McDavid had 20 points in 12 games in this year's playoffs. Give McDavid a goalie that is playing at Bob's level and he is in the finals as well. - mickel25
If McJesus just hit and fought the Oilers would win all the Cups.

If he is that good, and he might be….why would the Ducks ever entertain a trade? They are in the same spot as the Flyers, with maybe a few more young pieces already in place. They are rebuilding. - landros 2
Here is the thing, they wont.
But we gotta talk about something. In the next few days hopefully our discussion moves over to who we should take at #7 and #22.
And Maybe it morphs again if Briere can use that #22 to swing a deal with a roster player to move even higher.

While losing Provorov will hurt the team, it was the right move with all the factors involved. It is encouraging and a sign that the team understands what it has to do. Hextall knew what had to be done but needed to be executed better. So having the right plan is only half the battle. - MJL
Always have to bring your dad Saint Ronnie into the conversation. So sickening.
He was a bad GM accept get over it and move on Cliff

I prefer he acquire another pick in the 1st rd. Or at least the 2nd. I bet some guys "fall" in the draft.

Agreed….I’m hoping if they do move on from Hart or TK, it involves a 2023 1rst rnd pick. |

I agree. Get as many picks as possible for this draft. Especially the first round. The cost to move up will be extraordinary. I do not think moving into the top 3 is realistic for the Flyers. |

That is my thinking.
My hope is that maybe Hayes can get you back a 2nd this year. Maybe you can get another 1st for Hart or possibly Konecny if they go that route.
There could also be another guy that gets moved we never thought about or thought they would move. |

What it shows that you need to learn is that playoff performance can vary from year to year. Put McDavid on Florida or another good team like Carolina. What happens? - MJL
Honestly, I don't think he wins. He is just not tough enough to win when the series get down down to the semi's and finals. |

I really like Gavin Brindley and have made that known. Good chance he is there at 22, though obviously no idea what they think of him. He may also be the type that drops a little.
Harts value I am all over the place. Really don't know what to expect if he is moved.

Believe it or not, I think I would rather have Fantilli than any other player in this draft class, including Bedard. The way I look at it is Bedard is MacDavid, Fantilli is Tkachuk, and I would rather have Tkachuk and win playoff series. - jd250
I agree with the first part of this post. Just a feeling he might be a warrior. Although I wouldn’t feel slighted if left with Bedard. Wouldn’t it be wild, if say, Chicago thought more of Fantilli. Would they have the stones to do the unthinkable? Guess that’s what makes it interesting and fun for us. |

while Cliff wont admit it I have no doubt he wants to see the 3 headed monster fail. Pained him seeing Danny make a good trade.

well, that is where I disagree with many of you on this forum. I think Hart is a true franchise goalie and there are very few legitimate franchise goalies in this league. Thus in my mind that makes his the Flyers top asset. TK is right behind though, a legitimate first line winger with 40+ goal potential. |

what you think and what is reality differ. TK holds much more value in a trade.

I think MJL wants what we all want, for the Flyers to be relevant again, for them to not try to continue to band-aid and quick patch something but to grow a real team that can contend for years to come. My favorite team was the 80's team with Mike Keenan because that team was home grown and was able to legitimately contend for several years, and if it were not for injuries would have won at least 1 cup. |

You don't think he wins but Tkachuk is the player you need to win the cup. Based on all the cups that Tkachuk has won. |
