Bill if the Fyers got the first pick in that draft and picked Patrick Kane instead of JVR do you think they would have wone the cup during that time period with Carter and Richards? |

✔️ Sign a UFA forward to a huge contract,
✔️ Trade multiple top draft assets for an overrated dman,
✔️ Hire controversial coach other teams wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole,
✔️ Add a veteran top-pair right-side dman on a long contract.
If Severson immediately gets hurt and goes on perma-LTIR we'll have bingo.

They still need a "hard to come by" Deslauriers type. Don't skimp on those NTC either.

I wouldn't try to peg a lineup. I doubt some of the defenders on the roster will be here after the draft or when camps starts. They could move Seeler, DeAngelo, or Walker for that matter still. There are going to still be moving parts yet - J35Bacher
In terms of line-up on the backend, you have to assume that suddenly Sanheim and Risto are now bumped up to your #1 pairing.....which could be an adventure.
In terms of development, they have no one else to replace Provorov's minutes, and they would be repeating the same mistake the club made with Provorov by throwing York or any of the other young d men into a first line pairing to eat huge minutes and get shelled.
They have a plethora of young d men, and a few third pairing guys, so it will be interesting to see just what they do, especially since they're also reportedly shopping Tony D.... |

What you do is find a stop gap type of vet either in FA or trade. Someone said Gudbranson. Would you take him say in a Hayes deal. He has 3 years left. I think you can find ways to help the defense without tying yourself to anything long term or big money. |

Bill, what input did Jones have on the trade? - ClaudeFather
Was Jonesy apart of the Stanley Cup Final last night? How pissed were people in here? We need his entire focus, or else Briere won’t be able to pull off blockbuster deals. |

He can give some great anchor ⚓️ contracts insight. - THE EVIL WITHIN
"This is just like the time I traded back and drafted Cam York over Cole Caulfield and Matt Boldy"
"Yup guys, the app says its a fair trade, wanna take a look?"
"No, I don't think three years is too long to wait for Michkov. Heck, I once waited so long for a Russian in Minnesota that I forgot he was even in our system!"
"OK guys, I'm signing off before the 2nd-round begins. I'll be back for the 3rd." |

One thing they HAVE To do is move York back to his strong side and leave him there.

There were so many debates on that. Some for some unknown reason could not see that it was deflected by Campbell. |
