Philly : MacTavish and Ottawa 2024 1st

Reasoning - Cat seems to want out. He’s going for free agency. A sign and trade to play in Anaheim might make him happy. Plus, he’s gonna play with a top notch center there.

Ottawa gets a goalie who is proven, but needs a change of scenery. TK is a nice consolation since they might lose Cat for nothing.

Anaheim will have two top centers in Zegras and Fantilli. They need scoring wingers. MacTavish on the third line isn’t as appealing as Cat on the 1st.

Just spitballing. I’ve had a few drinks, so it’s probably not that feasible.

Those are the factors. Is the return offered in a deal too good to pass up? If you're not convinced he's the guy. Then you should trade him. That's the decision the Flyers have to make. The Flyers should base who they decide to trade on the level of return and if they feel a player is a long term piece

Typically 4th liners get 8-10 minutes a game. Nic D was getting more earlier in the season, but his minutes decreased later in the season.

Watched game 4 tonight and for some reason I was focused on the crowd. What a bunch of degenerates. D bags walking down several rows to bang on glass during play. Bunch of middle age dudes with backwards hats. People violently screaming at the officials.

Totally took away from the energy of the crowd overall.

Nailed it!! Hexy is unemployed for a reason and the Coots contract was a callosal blunder, but let's keep sticking to our agenda. I am no Panther fan and the fans who threw stuff on the ice need to go, first time I seen that happen The fans down here are largely good fans, mostly transplants from the NE or Canada, a lot of converts. Then you have the younger generation, real fans, hockey is a lot more popular down here than you might think. I have coached in the youth league for over 15 years, played in the mens league for over 25 years, hockey has grown down here, like Buttman or not, SFL and Tampa have good hockey and good fans.
