He rolled the dice on a goalie and completely screwed us by not getting help on D early in the season when injuries hit. Last year was a growth year, this year he starts to hit the gas. As he said, now there are expectations. - Slump Buster

Funny he had help on his Defense, let a Stank whore play him at Wing and then traded him for a 3rd. |

There is some awful, terrible asset management in their past. They may be on the cusp of winning a cup, but I don't think that it changes some of the brutal decisions that they have made. I dare say that the west was extremely weak this year. - Slump Buster
If and when they win a Championship within their first 6 years, let alone decade, they will have every player who hits FA looking West.
They already had one of the most desirable teams to play for simply by setting up in Vegas.
All those brutal decisions aren’t brutal if they led to you winning a cup.
Won’t need to draft if every player wants to go there. |

They will have won the cup in spite of the brutal decisions. Again, this was all in response to a statement that said they are successful because they try to make moves that make them better today.

Anyone else getting the feeling that this is a make or break season for the Buffalo Bills and this coaching staff.
The season truly feels like a SUPERBOWL or bust year after today and it’s only June |

But those decisions aren’t brutal. They led to the current roster. Without those decisions, they never land Eichel and they never trade MAF and have Hill go on this run.
They were brilliant decisions no matter how bad you think they were.
They will hoist the cup in Vegas tonight.
Because of those decisions. |

Sean Payton and Vic Fangio with that roster would have been bananas.
Now Fangio is in Miami, and it’s realistic conversation as to if the Bills even win the East this year.

No, and I could no be further from feeling that way. The window is wide open and a little blip doesn't change that.

Um.... yeah. That makes complete sense. Anything that ever turns out good justifies everything that happened before it.

Miami should be good but Allen and the Bills put up 40+ against the great Vic Fangio 2 years ago.
They’ll be fine |

We know he tried to do things. Not sure a GM deserves any credit for trying. - Lunaion
Well, he certainly shouldn't be damed when UFA's didn't want to sign in Buffalo, Goalie rejected trade due to Goalie Coach, and others tejecting trades because of Buffalo reputation built under past regimes. |

Yeah, when the Broncos entire secondary came off the street due to injuries.
There is a reason every team runs his defence now, and he’s the architect of it.

Call it what you want, he gets a failing grade in goal for his tenure so far. Whatever he's planned on has failed from day 1 of giving Ullmark a 1 year deal. Hopefully Levi starts to turn that page and he makes a move for a better partner.
Also can't give KA a pass on players rejecting trades. Eichel's injury was on his watch.
