LW Zemgus Girgensons 3 years x $2,300,000

I know this will probably be the most divisive signing of this offseason, but it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise. Girgensons has stated that he wants to come back, and Kevyn Adams even said that he’d like to bring him back as well. Girgensons is one of, if not the best defensive forwards on the Sabres roster and at the same time, scores at least 10 goals a season. he’s exactly the type of player that is needed in the lineup, not to mention a great leader in the locker room. Bringing him back is a no brainer.

Need some more years on that deal imo

That’s just way to Ennis, Weber and a 3rd caliber proposal for a guy who’s head and shoulders the best player in the deal.

We’d need to add a high end piece and remove one of the seconds

I've been trying to think of a Mitts to Minnesota trade that would make sense bc they could really use a cheap center with upside and he's obviously from there. It's hard to identify anything the Sabres would want that Minny could give away.

Yes of course he's not pushing to the cap. They can do a lot of things and only add 10M (net) to the payroll this year
