Never heard of a power drifter. Will have to look that up.
Damn thats a pretty slick setup for a riverboat. - DuranDuran
It’s awesome, I went out today and caught 3 nice rainbows and a nice brown. The runoff has already seemed to happen, but the fishing has been pretty good on the bow. I plan on heading out to k man country and fish the elk. If you want to go out sometime on the bow let me know. Cheers |

I am good man! Thanks for asking.
I actually just flew in Cowtown last night. Ecuador has gone to poop and after 12 years it was time to pull the chute. I tied the knot with the Venezuelan lady and now I just have to get her Visa.
How's the golf game going? Golfing and Fly Fishing are the two things I am really excited to take up again.

Heard Ecuador Colombia and Peru are going to a bit of animosity, that bad to chase you out? I'm headed to Chile with plans of Bolivia Paraguay Uruguay and Argentina starting next week. Hope it's not bad throughout down there. |

There are a lot of factors as to why it is going to hell, but the cartels are at war and the government has no idea what to do.
There was supposed to be a major mining boom in Ecuador but the country cannot get out of its own way and tsther than a boom it was more of a fart.
Great place to live when you have a good job. But with no foreign investment there are not many good jobs. |

I wish it were true, but I think the Flames will be fine next year. A team with that much turnover usually needs a season to create some cohesion. I told you guys this last offseason. Too much change can be a bad thing. They eliminated the elephant in the room in Sutter. They obviously need to make 1 or 2 changes this offseason (Hani for example 1, finding a spot for wolf 2, figuring out Backlund and Lindholm long term 3), and after that I think they are fine. Personally I think they should have gone with the other coach, but it was a lose lose situation. End of the year I expect Calgary to be right around EDM/VGK/LAK in standings. Van in 5 then the rest. |

With Correa potentially coming back, Ecuador can kiss good bye to foreign investments. He will align with China, Russia, Venezuela. Curious to see who comes out winner in the run off this fall. |

I hope we keep Lindholm. THey need to trade Hanifin and I think trading Backlund should be highly considered too at his age

Hearing Buffalo is looking for a top 4 to mentor Powers. That 13th oa and a 2nd would be nice, given what Provorov got Philly. |

I get that but if he’s made up his mind already then I think Conroy moves him.

With the migrant situation, places that used to be pretty safe (like Northern Chile) are now pretty complicated. Argentina is going through crazy inflation, so that will mean the fringes of society become more desperate.
Uruguay seems stable and Bolivia and Paraguay are both just really poor countries.
Just follow your gut. Typically when you start feeling sketched out in a situation, there is a reason. Latin America is a great place but travellers are always an easy target.
Sounds like a fun trip. Are you going to the Salar de Uyuni? Iguazu? Bariloche? Do tell.

That possibility was a huge reason I left.
There is a very nefarious element down there that funds these populists. The populists get rich destroying the institutions and the economy. In turn, the nefarious elements get to flourish in the chaos. It's a sad reality.
