I think the justification for mist companies is the office space they pay to rent…they figure they’ve got to use it sometimes or it’s wasted money
- Karine Hains

true, but they've already significantly reduced the office spaces they used to have, and if everyone just worked from home we wouldn't need any at all, except for a few monthly meetings or something.

they won't admit it but I'm sure it's all related to public opinion, they're scared that government employees would get criticized for not having to go to the office and being able to work remotely all the time.

John LeClair to the Flyers, eh?

At the current rate, Mark Recchi is going to be named the Flyers team doctor soon.

It may cost the Habs Lane Hutson…

So The 5th + Lane Hutson…

Not sure I would do that…

It'll cost more than that

at least in my case I'm in the office 2 days a week... I try not to complain about it but I just hate it so much, especially since no real justification for it was given. I'm happier and more productive working from home lol.

At a Canadian Federal Deparment, it is 10AM and a guy is looking through the window…

His colleague asked him WTF are you doing?

The guy replies: I am watching the birds in the park across the street…

His colleague replies: Hey hey, don’t do that… We need to keep some work for the afternoon!!!

if only my cubicle looked like that though... the ones we have here have a nauseating hospital-green color, it's old poop dating back to the 80s.

I would deal Hutson for pick 2-4 in a heartbeat. Tiny D men are never able to withstand the NHL grind.

*Edit: this was supposed to quote someone else. I guess it’s been a while since I’ve posted here… lol

In this year's draft, at number 5, you are going to get a really good player.

Not sure the value of assets needed to move up is equal to or less than the value of any other player after Bedard.

Now moving back is an option I seem more probable than moving up.

We will end up picking 5th or package it for a Kirby Dach type of deal…. I don’t see Habs picking the Russian…. And don’t expect a deal before the draft is started and those things happens on the floor when the player you want is still available…

Yes if they just pass on Michkov rather than trade down for an asset(Maybe Washington) and more than likely get the guy(s) they want at 5 anyways would be not smart.

Other than our best offensive players, I don't think we don't have much to offer except for our abundance of left D's ... and Guhle shouldn't be traded.

I just don't see a trade happening but what do I know, I'm just a fat cat.

Caufield and pick #5 to ANA for the 2nd.

You guys are too (frank)ing exhausting to read back 99.9% of the time.

Besides, my prediction int he draft is a trade down.... especially if the Russian is there at 5.

Congrats to chickendude for winning the pool ... he nailed it solid.

As for my own picks, I'm just trying to forget the disaster.
