first of all, it was Dvorak, Armia, Harris and FLA 1st.
2nd, WPG are not in the same position as ANA. ANA doesn't have to trade their #2 pick. WPG need to trade PLD, the sooner the better.

Honest question, how could you be honestly ok with passing on Michkov?? Sure he is three years away--- but heck so is anyone else they would be taking at 5. Next point, it has already been reported that his club team SKA does not and will not hold anyone back after they have completed their contract. Do we understand how good this guy is-- on a level playing field this guy would be in conversation of the number one pick. Next when has a top Russian not reported, yes I do understand times have changed but come on, guys like Dvorsky, Reinbacher, Leonard can not and will not hold his jockstrap. Imagine passing on him and having him score 50 while we have some third liner like Leonard for the next 10 years. Insane that this is even a possibility. Now there is chance they could be trading assets to get a player not as good as Michkov...INSANITY

that all depends on your evaluation of the young talent in that top 5, from the sound of it there does seem to be a significant gap between Fantilli and the others, even if he isn't a generational player like Bedard should turn out to be.

Just draft Michkov. It’s not like we don’t have enough prospects in our system or more draft picks/capital……..we do not have elite talent like him in our system plain and simple.

center city is usually pretty nice, yeah. the city is fun, i just wouldn't want to live there full time. kickbro did it for like 10 years, swearing it was the best but even he is back renting in the suburbs now.
