oh we can talk about anything, but from a logical standpoint I think the conversation makes more sense when speculating forever on who the habs will pick, rather than horrible ideas like these. just sayin'.

À l’aide d’un pilon à pommes de terre, écraser grossièrement les pommes de terre avec 30 ml (2 c. à soupe) du beurre. À l’aide d’un batteur électrique, réduire le mélange en purée avec le lait. Saler et poivrer. Réserver.

Placer la grille au centre du four. Préchauffer le four à 190 °C (375 °F).

Entre-temps, dans une grande poêle à feu moyen-élevé, dorer l'oignon dans le reste du beurre. Ajouter la viande et cuire en l'émiettant à la cuillère de bois jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit dorée. Saler et poivrer.

Presser légèrement la viande dans le fond d'un plat de cuisson carré de 20 cm (8 po). Y étaler le maïs puis la purée de pommes de terre. Saupoudrer de paprika et de persil.

Cuire au four 30 minutes. Terminer la cuisson sous le gril (broil), si désiré. Laisser reposer 10 minutes avant de servir.
