“I just think that this group is just touching the surface of becoming a good team, so I don't want to use buyouts if we don't have to,” Allvin said after the Canucks missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the seventh time in eight seasons. “I don't want to use buyouts that (are) going to affect us in a couple of years when this group is actually, hopefully, taking off. The intention is not using buyouts at this point.”
His comment seemed to contradict what Canucks president Jim Rutherford said in January. Rutherford told reporters that the organization must use all means available to shed contracts and create salary-cap space because “until we move those out, or until they expire, it’s going to be hard to make changes.”
Based on the above, I think we all know who’s calling the shots. |

Canucks should Consider offer-sheeting Ryan McLeod or his brother Michael. Might also be a good idea to trade down in the later rounds, to pick up some extra picks. |

Fully disagree, having not intention to use a buy-out doesn't mean you won't. They tried to get rid of salary and every team wants something in return. Buy-out then became the only option.
Just like going to the bar. We all have the inte lotion of picking up the hottest, but sometimes have to take the more homely one to avoid getting nothing at all. |

Some of the stuff that I was involved with was crazy-town. I found the redheads were insane....soul-less creatures!! But man it was an experience.

Don't you have a saltwater pool to be floating around in?
You can ramp up your Pouty Fan Club in September when the best Canucks team ever is getting ready for a high octane camp. - Marwood

Wrong.
This over the eight years will prove out to be a Rocky D Pietro 2.0 buyout.
Yesterdays buyout was a huge step forward. They now have the room to build a NHL D. - VANTEL

I have a puncture wound scar just an inch away from my jugular from my red headed ex. She didnt hesitate to smoke me with a bottle in the side of the head after I returned her insults when she was drunk. One night she tried running her mouth like that to my mother though and in about 5 seconds she took 2 punches to the mouth and 3 knees to the face then dragged and thrown out the door. I warned her not to (frank) with my mother. |

I’ve seen lots of coyotes around golf course and they are always emaciated and mangy. This was big and health, like the size of your average lab. Impressive.
You in Ontario? I’ve heard you guys get this hybrid coyote called coywolves. Those things are impressive. Really big, aggressive, and super intelligent. Now that’s intimidating. - bloatedmosquito
It's been going on for !00K years, we call it evolution.
It's becoming more common. Of course, the interbreeding leads to all kinds of results. One of the funniest things I witnessed was being questioned incessantly about the legitimacy of coyotes being around, whereas coy wolves were a given
That was following the same person questioning wether I'd seen a bobcat or a cougar and her cub. The next day he saw the cougar himself.
