Probably another desperate signing to 'go all in' with an atrocious anchor contract. Can't wait to see how they fuck this up. - Marwood
Well, they did just commit to another 8 years of dead space. So they're already waste deep. |

It’ll probably be a nothing move but I’m hoping for BIG changes. |

Well….that’s certainly possible. I’m golfing today, suppose to be 108°F, and then I’m gonna sit down and watch the final round of the US Open with a few Mexican beers.
Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there. 🍻 |

I’m not holding my breath. How many times has this franchise left us confused and disappointed? |

Right….fuckin pussies!! Not only am I married to one, my 30 year old daughter and my four year old granddaughter are also redheads. No matter what comes my way in life, I can deal with anything. - LeftCoaster
You know it. Sounds like you've got yourself a little bit of a freak farm happening though. Luckily my genetics won out and our Daughter is free from the curse. |

Sadly….for most of their existence. The Flyers keep me hopeful though, that Provorov trade was nice for the franchise. |

Stupid and desperate move to speed up the process of futility and ineptness. |

Happy Father’s Day.
Some great threads out there about Arizona heat. I like it hot, but there’s a limit.

The Middle East was worse, it’s regularly in the low 50’s there during the summer, here it’s the low to mid 40’s. The fabric on the center console of my Tundra peeled up a few years ago when I was parked outside for six hours, it’s like an oven in those vehicles even with a sunscreen on the front window and the windows slightly cracked. Thankfully our garage is climate controlled. |

I saw this one post where the guy had to use oven mitts to drive his truck home after being at construction site all day. |

I want to slap anybody that mentions trading down or offer sheets. #sorryrosterhawk - CanuckDon
I’m 60/40 on a trade down.
Always depends on the sweetener.
Only OS would be for Byram.
What I want most is trades for 2nds or better if possible. |

Hoping this buyout of OEL is just the 1st of several good things to happen this off-season.
Although I would like to see a complete roster change, that isn't going to happen, but moving on from Miller Demko Hughes Boeser and Garland would be another step in the right direction. - Reubenkincade
Blowing it up was never an option. |

After the big buy out, no roster predictions? You’ve changed man. |

There is a huge bitterness from past failures and many jaded fans express that. So it’s the safe bet to go negative. Now whatever happens it won’t satisfy everyone.
However, something will go down soon. Would a series of moves adjusting the roster be the way to go?
If it goes down to draft day that may involve the 11OA which will freak people out.
We are just along for the ride either way. |

Are we just passengers on this bus? Or as paying customers do we have a say in how the bus is driven? I wish more fans realized the power they hold in this situation. Stop financially supporting this crap. Force change. Don’t fall for the narrative that just because this privately owned business has Vancouver in its name that we must show loyalty and blindly follow without question. |

Just been working a lot of late & giving it a rest. Said before there had to be a big domino fall before more were to come. Still don’t see their next move just yet but odds are it’s for D.
Happy Fathers Day to you all. |

There is more changes to come no doubt. I thought the buyout was inevitable but just don’t like the year 3 & 4 hits. It has to have some smart cap management involved. |

Smart and cap management don't belong in the same sentence with this organization. They just paid a guy around 20 mil to play elsewhere...and to be on the books until 2031. |
