Exception to the rule. I think he’ll be an NHL winger though. Rather have Fantilli or Carlsson.

You build through the middle of the ice for forwards. The Canucks recent infatuation with drafting wingers is baffling.

Also….in the past 25 years the Canucks have drafted four defencemen in the first round. Bryan Allen, Luc Bourdon, Olli Juolevi and Quinn Hughes.

This needs to be addressed!!

It will be interesting to see who slides to the 11 slot after the Canucks trade it away, we would have guenther and whoever the 11 is to watch closely over the years and female dog and complain 😆

I'm not in a position to mock right now. The Dodgers just got pumped 15-0 by the Giants on Saturday.

Someone was saying this weeks ago.
Hanifin, Tanev for the the 11th oa and the 2024 1st, Garland, Myers
Hughes Tanev
Hanifin Hronek
Soucy Schenn
Huge D that would rival Vegas.

- K-man25

Considering the fact Van won't rebuild, I actually don't mind it. See if QH can become the d-man he was tracking to be playing with Tanev + a little more D depth. Problem I think is Myers. Have to sweeten that part up I think. If they've watched any vancouver hockey at all, they will know that's a turnover machine you just don't want. Despite the size and reach ... the brain just doesn't work on that stretch armstrong.

As for flames side, rebuilding or not, if a crappy team is tossing you 1st round picks ... you should take them.

In its totality, that Hronek trade was a huge win for the organization. Swapping out Bowie Horvat & a 2nd for Hronek, Beauvillier and Raty was an excellent trade, considering they want to compete. Personally I would’ve kept the picks, traded Miller, and started a youth movement, but that’s jus me.

I don't like the Hronek trade. Trading for another injured guy to begin with (that hasn't worked out great for Van lately), plus you're dealing with Stevie Y so you figure there's something he knows that you don't. Hronek should have fit nicely with their plan to get competitive. Maybe it's just that he thought he would be too expensive come time to re-sign, but that would be an issue for Van as well.

He only cost a 1st & a 2nd. No point worrying about the future, you've got to plan for now.

I hope he’s as good as they think, hard one to call at this point

You mean that self serving tripe at the start where she takes a shot at ownership? Yeah, mature and objective. What I did do was read the article and formed my opinion before I checked the author. Did you?

As for the rest of it, she only lists the position, height, and weight of the players. Doesn't bother to list what she found to be strengths and weaknesses of any player she ranked. Half assery.

Face it Mini, this list is crap regardless of who wrote it. I'm secure enough to admit that. You should be too.

- Load Management

You are displaying more butt hurt than anything honestly. I didn't have an opinion on the list. So not sure what I need to be secure about? I made a sarcastic winky face comment to trigger a few. It worked rather easily.

Is he with Kraken AHL or other? Either way, seems primed for a look for sure

He is with Seattle's AHL. He needs waivers this year if he is sent down.
