Well I can't say who is signed yet but I saw there was players that had a cup of tea but we're back in minors last season that were going to need waivers this year. Hoglander types for reference.

How to play the LTIR game...
Elliotte Friedman says on 32 Thoughts that Stone remains legitimately and seriously injured and that he is likely to be in and out of the lineup for the remainder of his career.

The insanity of buying out OEL tells me the management of the Canucks is terrible. There probably is the likely-hood that the Canucks are going to miss the playoffs again next year. They should have kept OEL and shaved another 2 years off of the length of the buyout. 8 years of a diminished cap will handicap the Canucks going forward, once they become a playoff team again.

You're shooting the messenger. I want the Canucks to succeed. Vancouver is one of the most beautiful places on this planet and I've enjoyed my time there. I think it's a travesty that it's come to this. Keeping OEL for one more year would have saved the Canucks a lot of cap space going forward. Do you really think that the Canucks are good enough to get into the playoffs next year? It should have been a rebuilding year and given them the ability to chew up OEL's contract. Instead this debacle.

Are you aware of the penalty attached to a buyout next year? It still sucked. This is a move they had to make. The owner wants playoffs. This was managements only move as no team was willing to take our sh!t contracts.
