Yeah, reading a book about what happened before you were born never did a thing for anyone.

People literally live their lives like it’s 50 First Dates and it’s one thing to dwell on the past but to ignore things that have happened in your lifetime, whether out of your control or not, is a fool’s approach. I question anyone who tries to bury the past under the pretense of the future.

We know the past. We don’t know the now or what’s coming.

The past 10 years of Sabres hockey has shown me the door. And I am close to walking through it.

It isn't bringing up the past as the issue.
It is beatingthe living poop out of the present in view of the past, which occurred under different regime and relentlessly using it to project the future.

I will only say this, Adams is changing the culture of this Team for the better. And it isn't his fault but the past still affects this Team. Unfortunately we saw it with players not willing to waive. Until we get over the hump, unfortunately Adams will be linked to the past.

They have to make the playoffs in most of the fanbases eyes next year.

Anything else is failure.

True, but I think with Appert and Peca the growth in some of these prospects that you have seen. Actually a lot of them have developed nicely the last couple years.

Considering the atrocities he committed with the Hawks and the Canucks, I'd say he did fine. I'm not saying he's some great player all I'm saying is that he helped.

Is vanek considered a good coach. He was super talented but quite lazy. Not sure that matches vibes other than the nostalgic ones.
