I am all for drafting this kid, but I wouldn’t pay the cost into the Top 5 this year. Pretty solid draft in the top 10-15, gonna cost a bit more this year IMO to move up that high.

For the Sabres? You have to probably use Rosen and your 1st, maybe a 2nd or 3rd.

Its really a no-brainer. He should be #2. Most teams are waiting 3+ years just for their prospect to get to he league and they might not produce for a couple years after that.

Once that kid touches NHL ice he's gunna be a phenom.

I get why someone would take Faninilli or the other guy as 2 and 3. Most GMs don't have the luxury of waiting for several years. But after that... no brainer.

I think that the other way of looking at it is that - in a normal year - he is a #1 overall pick. I am normally not one in favor of moving up, but this seems to be a perfect storm where it just might make sense.

So if they're all scared he should be able to be taken at 8-10.

I think if he falls past 5, people are going to be trying hardest to move up. There is no way that a 2nd gets that done.
