The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Lukas Rousek to a two-year contract with an AAV of $775,000. - Lunaion
first year is two way, second is one way, right? |

Haven't seen details. Seems unusually generous, if they do.

Is Boston really still above us? Again, I bolded "unquestionably". That core is pretty old and I think much of it is retiring. Still above us certainly, but its not a huge jump.
Chicago and Anaheim - seriously? They are years away from competing. - Slump Buster
I don’t think any player is picking Buffalo as a destination over Boston, sorry.
And Anaheim has an incredibly bright future with a loaded prospect system and is a very attractive destination to live.
Chicago probably not yet but if Bedard is what he’s hyped as they’ll absolutely be a destination again soon.
Vegas, Colorado, Dallas, New York City, Boston, Tampa and Florida I think are head and shoulders preferred destinations to Buffalo. |

Makes sense if they see him as the eventual okposo replacement. Probably what it would take to keep him from going back overseas. |

Seattle is definitely near the top right? Good team, nice area, low taxes. |

I mean he still needs to pass through waivers regardless.
He’s effectively your 13th forward.
Bye bye Jost, good soldier but no room |

Maybe, but they are pretty tight with their 1 ways. 200-300k would be normal for them.

Didnt they give a nice bump to Biro for his 2 year deal. Very similar iirc |

Guess we'll see if the rumor of him leaving was accurate. - Lunaion
Welp.
And there was no rumor. The rumor was a pair of Amerks heading to Europe. Pilot and I think Mitch Eliot. |

I assume this will be similar, haven't seen the actual terms yet. |

I don't know how or why it started, just something that made it's way here. Pretty rare that someone publicly says they don't want to be here, so a tough one to kill.

He insinuated that we are trading up in the draft and that something else was coming that would make us happy. I wonder if he was playing with us with the latter (which would be hilarious) - Slump Buster
Interesting ……. I would love that |

No Ufa is picking a team because they have a good prospect ranking. Chicago is light years away. Many of those teams are ahead of us now but trending down.
