I think others would take morin in the mid first round range - Michael Ghofrani
I have a feeling Oliver Bonk is also going to go a lot higher than people think.

Would you trade back to 18 if Winnipeg came calling, maybe get one of those Dman in a package. I would take Morin at 18. |

I could see them take the local kid musty at 13.
In a perfect world they trade down to take him or up from the 2nd round . - Boss34
If he wasn't from Hamburg, would he be your target?

Depends on if there's a run early IMO. If Reinbacher,Simashev, Pellikka, Willander go early, could see it. |

The more I watch of him the more I like.
I guess it depends on how much you trust your developmental staff to make sure you can fix his flaws and maximize his potential.

Probably not, although he's been a junior sabre for years.
I'm sure they want him, at 13oa might feel to early |

Mocks I've seen put him mid-late 20's. Too big of a reach on a position they have 0 need for.
Someone in their top 10 likely falls to them. If they stay at 13, this should be an easy first round for them.

Generally agree, except for the bolded part.
A scoring, power forward is a need IMO...just don't want a liability on the ice. Having 3 or 4 Tuch's prowling the wings would be awesome.
Edit: NOT saying Musty is a D liability, just making the general comment. |

Reached for Rosen. Also reached for Ostlund. Think there were both similar types of reaches. Where they could of went in those spots but were more slotted late 1st’s - ZiggyBuff
Quinn was a reach too. |

Is a "Reach" based off public analysts draft projections really a reach if they prove to meet the draft selection expectations?
I say not. |

The KA drafts make me think they don't value size, at least for F's.

Yes, he would.
He's got a lot of quality traits, and those that need work can be fixed.
He's also a late birthday and has plenty more development ahead of him.
I'm a believer. |

Some of the hard-core draft nerds have Musty much higher then the well known mocks.
>>> I think Quentin Musty is a less talked about prospect at 13th overall for BUF, but he is a very reasonable pick in that spot
>>> 6’2” forward who some believe to have power forward traits. Outproduced Jack Quinn (8th OA), Jeff Skinner (7th OA), Alex Nylander (8th OA), etc. in their DYs in the OHL
Nearly produced at the same clip this past season as Shane Wright the previous season (1.47 PPG vs. 1.49 PPG)

Think Adams will have a few choices if he stays at 13. Will be some really good players available. Obviously has some fire power to move up for the right player. Should have teams calling to move up. Can Adams squeeze 2 players out of this 1 pick. One to help now, and one for down the road. |

Not that I agree with this ranking in the mid-40's, however it does demonstrate the widely different rankings of various prospects.
Having one ranked in the teens and another in the 40's with the bulk in 20's shows the disparity. I'm not sure I saw this in previous years.
#47- Quentin Musty
His offence and consistency went to another level in the back half of the season in Sudbury. Big body, average plus skater in open ice. Not a transition threat, his best work comes from the hash marks down and around the crease. Sneaky puck skill making plays through opponents. More of a playmaker in the second half than goal scorer. Fantastic puck touch around the crease and a quick release. Detail has ranged in all three zones. Has room for more pace and drive at times, but he has top six qualities when he’s on his game. Interesting. I don't watch junior hockey. Haven't seen any of the draft ratings that high on him.

There aren't many.
I'm pulling for the kid, but not sure I would go 13 for him...the nerds would need to do some serious justification selling. |

I have absolutely 0 opinion on who they take at 13. I’ll be a little excited if they land Michkov. If not, couldn’t care less |
